I hope that Monster Hunter Wilds will have mods I don't mind cosmetic mods but hopefully that mods will be allowed. Now if I'm by myself speeding through the game to get through the game quicker I'm ok with that as I'll also be taking my time exploring and seeing what wilds has to offer, but if I'm online then I'll just disable mods that cheat because I hate ruining other people's experiences.
Oh okay cool, I still low-key wished you could changed it directly with RGB values... I'm still only in Chapter 2 so I'm certain I'll have more freedom eventually so my booster colour doesn't mash with my paint job
Do we know when the handler Walter ac is supposed to release? I REALLY loved his boss fight and getting my little grubby augmented hands on one would be so epic
I'm just glad our mounts are bigger. Not that I'm complaining but I love my palamute. I just hope we have different breeds of them. I'd love to get my hands on a mount that's heavily armored with scales. Little on the slow side but considering in rise these fucking monsters keep knocking me off it's annoying.
They probably won't be 1/144 scale. They do that with mobile suits because the average mobile suit is about 18 meters tall. Meanwhile, Armored Cores (at least in AC6) average around 10 meters tall. So if they were in 1/144 they would be absolutely tiny compared to their other models.
Putting mods make it more accessible for someone with potato pc and laptop and that help to be more stable if i can't do that i just play the game somewhere else in offline mode so that mods can be installed plus there are npc hunters now that S.O.S signal now so i can just play with that instead 😆 there could be mods too that could be possible to customise the NPC hunters 😆 would be fun though.
Would have been a cool feature. Though, this also lets you get an idea of your opponents' build in PvP. Esspecially important if they are running a coral gen.
I’ve personally been testing the second coral generator you get, and the recovery time between running out of thrust and regaining a chunk of it back in half or more of the scenarios where I needed it, I reached the ground or area lower limit before recovering energy. Sorry sir but you are incorrect. The only use of coral generators is to look pretty and have higher energy output to maintain use of coral weapons which eat up more energy. Do better testing, cause arena testing is basic and will never account for even half of the scenarios you find yourself out of energy. Test in PVE and PVP.
I'm not sure how you are testing them, but they are a popular option for both PvE and PvP. How many pits are you hovering over exactly? Timing when you empty it is just as important a skill as managing a regular generator. Also, having even a single stance weapon should fix that too depending on your core.
I'm really loving the changes done so far, only a few things I like to add and improve form what we need at Gamescom. I like the option to Shield Bash when doing Dash Attack. We only get Finishing Thrust for two buttons, but no Shield Bash. I like it if we can shield bash. Second when we are guarding and after Guard Dash it looks like the shield attack is the same as in World. I feel like it be better if we get something closer to shield tackle but just a short jump into a shield bash upper cut. which would make the attack feel better. pretty much just adding and improving some areas that don't feel as good when I played it. but over all the lance feels amazing! only a few things I don't care for
Fair points. I only got the chance to put like 3-4 minutes into it so I didn't get a great feel for the shield bashing. The guarding and focus mode stuff felt really solid though!
@@LikelyFeral The counter shield bash and the focus shield bash feels amazing, just the normal one feels like it just stops your momentum when it shouldn't. But over all Lance it the best versions it's ever been and I love it. Lovement feels good, attacks and combos feel fantastic! I'm looking forward to the new Lance in Wilds.

Yea. My gut reaction is to not like it but there were several changes in World that I was initially skeptical about. If the monsters are challenging and the AI good, I don't mind that it keeps the action flowing. I'm warming up to the idea.
If you dont like healing and sharpening on a mount, just dont do it yourself. There doesnt need to be a draw back. If someone wants to make it harder, they can just choose not to get back on the mount. Simple as that.
While that's true, it's just the overall gradual progression of mechanics like that I have mixed feelings on. BUT mechanics like that have made it more accessible and World was very popular as a result. So I can't complain too much.
Being able to start quests just by fighting a monster on an expedition is probably the single most exciting thing to me about wilds so far. I always wanted to just set out in world and rise and fight whatever monster I found that might help with progressing the main story, upgrading gear, or side quests, so the fact that quests were discreet trips out for a single objective always bothered me. I really hope you're allowed to say out after a quest and just go for another objective.
I could be wrong, but I THINK the quest you get out in the field by attacking are expedition quests and not mainline story ones. BUT Alma stays out with you and I think you can pick up story quests from her.
As soon as they talked about the hunt/interview at summer fest and they said the village was rather small/basic I knew there could be more than one. Now what would be cool, is that the last "village" we unlock, could be some sort of guild city where we can only start quests from the hub and that would make the endgame farm a little better than just hoping there's a specific monster on the map. Also would make sense to allow you to go there only at the end, so you first experience the game out in the open. Either way, we can only make assumptions, and we're gonna have to wait!
Honestly, the only thing I'm confused about is the whole. Both male and female characters can wear each other's armor. I know its for fashion, but like what happens if I have a male character and I equip a female chest piece? Does my guy get boobs now? I still like the idea because some of the female armors do look cool, but I'm still confused about how it's gonna work without just being weird.
It fucking keep getting better and better with every new trailer, every gameplay details reveal. This is game of the year 2025 competing with GTA VI if they won't have fatal launch issues

I'll always will love the palamute besides it made it easy with a extra buddies on group quest so there's is no way I'll ever forget rises we needed the doggo
3:20 Quite a bit late on this comment, but this is a move that was added to World that didn't really see a lot of use. It's not a bounce, but it's a repeated bonk. If you miss at any point, the combo will force end and you'll be in a little recovery animation. Best used on a downed, trapped, or paralyzed monster; but most preferably stunned so that you don't accidentally trigger a stun and throw the monster out of the previous state and out of your combo. I don't remember the input.
Capcom's stance on mods is objectively wrong. Both 5th gen mh games are unplayable without mods (cutscene skip and gold spirit bird at start respectively) Mods is what keeps a game alive for much longer or forever. Sm64,minecraft,and terraria are big examples. I feel like capcom is just jealous that modders make their games better than they did 🤔
Hmm, I don't know if I would go as far as to say they are unplayable. Bit certainly they can add fun alternatives. That being said, I was really wanting a cutscene skip going back through World.
@@LikelyFeral fair enough I just can't stand having my time wasted. So unskippable cutscenes in mhw and having to screw around for little birds on every quest absolutely infuriates me.
Don't really care about any specific things. I only play monster hunter mainline games so Wilds is the first game i will play since world. 13,000 hours in world and i am ready for a new game
Most people don't consider the "handheld" versions mainline. Up until world it was the numbered titles or other titles made by the "primary" team. I think it's just a matter of semantics though. Still, there's no denying that Rise played very differently from World and there's a certainly a group of people who didn't like it much. Though I enjoy both styles (still prefer World's style though)
@@LikelyFeral the handheld games are mainline whether people like it or not. (the mainline anniversary video by capcom some years back had mhxx, alongside the rest even) They have the exact same gameplay as the 1st games in each generation but better. Rise didn't play very differently from world though? It has literally the same core gameplay as world but expanded upon. Just like mhgu is mh4u's core gameplay but better.
@@LikelyFeral fr. at least i found my flavor of copium. near the bottom of the exhibition's page on the 20th anniversary site, it mentions an exhibition in osaka planned for early spring 2025. just gonna pretend i will ever get enough money to even possibly make it to that if im not just hallucinating it lmao.
