Si está especificado en el reglamento adelante, así como cuando un jugador deja caer la pelota para hacer doble play, bajo ciertos conceptos dentro de la regla, se puede hacer, y también está dentro del librito..
Yo creo que el corredor de primera no debio de abrir o salirse de la base por eso hicieron legal la jugada, si se hubiera quedo quieto en base solamente es aut al bateador...

@sun6262- no. At that level when the ball is actively being thrown to the catcher... you better not touch the catcher. Then, if the catcher is "out of position" which is considered at certain distance from home plate it would be considered interference. The "No contact rule" at this level is strictly enforced for the exact reason your Watchung. The only thing that would stop me from ejecting the runner was the catcher had no idea he was there with hie eyes solely on the ball. The runner was supposed to stop and not hit someone.
@sun6262- please understand. I know what you are saying. Bit, I've gone to school for this, soccer, volleyball, etc. Up to highschool age. In my day 50+ years ago... I flipped a catcher over my back when I stole home. Those days are no more. Too many young boys being hurt bad. The catchers eyes were on the ball. The runner had time to "check" himself. He chose not to. The choice was, he carried his weight through the hit and not at least tried to stop. I was taught, "Read the rules, understand the rules and where needed use common sense." I've been told so many times that a tie dies nit go to the runner. That's uneducated. The classes I attended taught different.
Fue precaución, le iba a romper la quijada!!! Debió haber llegado barrido el importe debió haberlo marcado out para cuidar la integridad del short stop. Si se han cambiado las reglas para cuidar al catcher que era el más lastimado en esas jugadas que no apliquen lo mismo en segunda… XD.
