In 2nd edition, it was a requirement to field a techmarine if deploying tanks, dreadnoughts. I'm not sure if that's the case still, but they could repair near catastrophic damage on a good roll.
@vanomzero yeah because there are not a lot of sources that show a lot of lore about the techmarines only in codexes and the techmarines in stories don't really do much from what I have seen
Hey buddy some constructive criticism here. I think you have a good speaking voice, but I think you should work on your cadence and tonality a little bit. At times you sound bored. If youre able to sound more musical when you speak I bet you get hundreds of thousands of views. In my opinion this is a very difficult skill to completely master. Good luck
The saddest part is that Techmarines can't become members of the Dark Angels inner circle due to their dual allegiance to the machine cult, unlike others such as the reclusiam, the apothecarion, and the librarius. They don't have a master of the forge, they have a master of the rock. This person is "plugged" into the machinery of the rock to organically control all aspects of its operations such as it's shields to protect from debris and asteroids, defenses, and general machinery. If a space marine was to ever die of old age, it would be the masters of the rock. They sit on their mechanical throne until they wither away and die, being supplanted by the next Techmarine to ascend to master of the rock. It's described as having this huge wall of dead masters of the rock plugged into various wires and tubing upon their thrones, gaunt and wasting away from malnutrition. They are only replaced when new space is needed when the next master takes his place, and the bodies are then entombed within the burial places of the heroes of the chapter. If the iron hands are the greatest chapter a Techmarine could ever aspire to serve, then the dark angels are arguably the worst for having such high levels of suspicion and secrecy, while carrying the largest burden to protect the monastery in its entirety.
Actually without humans the space marines would not be able to make war, the VAST quantity of supplies and material support comes from human production.
erhm erhm ohh gods i have to do this? yes yes i do. So tech Marines firstly is loyal to their chapter? WROOOONG! they are loyal to Mars! the mechanicus. Tech marines are so Loyal to mars that if they discover new tech it is send of to mars! no one else gets that tech. Even the deathwatch Tech marines do this. So the Inquisition have to kiss big ass time big booty of that marine to even consider them to have the tech they discoverd. Tech marines are extremely rare they are not mistreated by their brothers at all. They are kept very very safe in battle. Also if you are a battle brother space marine who pisses off a tech marine. You better not sleep at all... Because chances are you are reprimanded so harshly it is stupid! by your supirirors and evaryone else. Yikes yes that is a thing be silent for 200years is a thing. They are awakning dreadnoughts or as i like to call them. Naughtyboys. They are reparing amor teminator suits are kept prestine if the chapter have the resources to do so. Secret here most do not have the resources to keep terminator amor prestine. In battle they are very very good fighters. They repair ofc tanks and bla bla bla... but they also forge new weapons. Power swords axes whatever that makes your day a bit better. Most chapters do not donate a tech marine to the death watch at all! so death watch tech marines are made specefickly for them from mars. Most space marines loose their humanity if they have one to begin with. Most chapters have psykopaths... sorry breaking your fancy here. But if you met a space marine in real life that marine would kill you and think nothing of it! that is how some chapters operate. Some do not some save people some kill them and some just are normal being normal in 40k is a bit of a stretch. Tech marines usially have a bit of red and their shoulder path is showing they are tech marines. That is the symbol of the mechanicus. Also not many are painted red nowdays. Most are more like chapter coulors and than the pauldron of one side is the mechanicus symbol and coulor. I just like to rectify some mistakes made in this video.
there is too many accounts in the lore of techmarines machining new technology for the chapter based on uncovered STC's without any permission from the machincus whatsoever, you are essentially making a whole bunch of random crap up from your own head lore and stating it as cannon, which is very common for teenage fans of 40k for some reason.
@@johncasarino5627 People like a defined rule, the truth is it depends entirely on the chapter and the techmarine as to exactly where their loyalties lie and how the chapter reacts to finding new technology. Famously the Blood Angels kept an STC fragment for a whole variant of tank while on the flipside the Novamarines and Blood Drinkers put sizable numbers into clearing a space hulk for the mechanicus accepting a reward for their efforts rather than keeping the technology.
Hey Dude great script! love the lore talk but it sounds like you could not be bothered to dop this video. It seems like you are giving a school presentation on a topic you don't like. I do think you have potential, just add some personality to your voice. Keep it up man!
so what do you guys think is going on in the picture at 2:14 all those guns firing and derbry falling out of the sky are they firing at an orc attack mooon(s)?
