1. you can get ready whatever part you want first, I did the piping first to make sure the things even cool, and is going to fit where I want befor opening all the media. 2. almost all filter media says to rinse it off first when it co es do carbon or bio ceramics to get all the dusty stuff off. 3. the rings will work, most companies don't give you premium media, they want to make money 4. i do not want the output nozzle breaking my surface and making more noise, as I have a power head, and two hang on backs, I actually am going to see if I can make a way for the nozzle to be about a foot lower in my tank to get some more current at a lower level keeping crap from settling
We were hoping you would show us how to set up the tank. They did not give directions, and there are a couple pieces that don't seem to fit where they're supposed to go. Then there's a black plastic piece, with 3m on it that makes it stick. I'm assuming it becomes a handle to remove the lid.
407 is the best👍🏼 I bought one for myself. It would be cool if 507 appeared instead of fx4, for example, or as an alternative to it. In my opinion, episode 7 is better than fx🤷🏻♂️ Have a nice day everyone.
I hit the demo button and now it won't go off - what do I do? I have a masters degree and this remote is the most confusing thing I've ever encountered. Anyone know of a simple quality light that I can simply plug into a timer and that's it?
All you have to do is put it the dam water, let the air out then squeeze the pump and I shit you not, after one squeeze she’s pumping more water out then me on a Friday night.
Omg.... I can't accept it😂😅 Came across this video when I checkout for Fluval 207 and I'm totally 😅 From the way you handle the installation, it shows you're amateurs.. and it got my "OCD" exploded 😂 1. Ppl would get ready the filter media before installing the piping. 2. Nobody would prewash the filter media 😒 especially when you are wanted play around with the water chemistry for a fresh new setup... I must emphasize, unless you know your water parameters, otherwise, don't play with it. 3. frankly, the default bio ring is low quality stuff, we usually get higher grade bio ring. 4. The setup of the output nozzle 😞 - we most often tilt it to near water surface level to encourage water surface agitation for oxygen exchange ... Not just simply dump it underwater, it's about oxygen exchange and also understanding what kind of water flow we want to create for our setup.
Thanks so much for the easy to follow instructions! I lost the manual, and had no idea what I was doing! I figured out the 24/7 setup in literally 10 seconds on this video, thanks!!!
Just a tip intake and out take on same side. Out take acting as a wave maker to push water forward on top then put a small wave maker on the bottom of opposite side to push water below to circulate and push tridus to the intake. This give you a full tank circulation to make the canester work better
Aaand since 2005 and x04 series nothing changed. No failed filter/tubing protection, small hole in the intake tube 1/2" below water level will be lifesaver when your filter fails and leaks. Unlikely event but my 404 canister split(in 2005) and sucked nearly all water out of the 450l tank flooding 3 storeys of flats below. Have I had such hole it would be 8-10 liters on the floor not ~350!!!!
