@jeffkraus1457 Good question. I'm going to assume you mean the removable light as that is the only thing that is powered. I couldn't honestly say. I don't use it too often, but it's nice to have as an option, and removing it is also a nice feature as it lessens the weight. It has certainly lasted me long enough to do any tasks I have performed (over a couple hours). If I had to guess, I'd estimate it to be at least 3+ hours? I can fully charge it turn it on and see when goes out and follow up?
Well it ran for over 3 hours straight on the low setting and I had to go to sleep so I stopped my stopwatch function on the phone sooo...Yeah, it runs a long time with a full charge. It could probably go longer. I'm pretty confident it could do the same in bright mode too. Too bad "Project Farm" doesn't test this kinda Hobby Stuff. LOL! Maybe someday if/when I'm rich I'll give it a shot.
Update on this device. I accidentally left it stuck to my hood and drove around with it under there for a week...(Yes, I do things like that). Its Still works great!
Yup! It's working just fine. You'll see it in the background in a few of my videos. Like I mentioned though,.if you shake it, it will move, but who shakes their paint shelves? It just has to sit there and hold all my paints, not act as a sway bar. People act like everything should be still like welded steel. It's just laser cut wood. Lower your expectations and set them to "reality" level and you will be quite satisfied with this product in my opinion.
Not yet, but I plan to,. I have a couple of designs I'd like to make. I don't plan on getting them any time soon. Even though I can afford it, I do have other things that take priority before I spend $80 on two t-shirts.
Thanks. Its supposed to be to scale with the Amiibo figures so it came out rather large (3feet long). I can tell you..it at least looks real enough to freak out the dogs. LOL!
I have no idea. I'd have to see it, but if I had to guess...the drawer may not be "square" in other words, some part of it is bent or uneven so that not all angles are at 90 degrees, causing it to be stuck. Maybe they gently twisting and see if it works it's way out. If it does, you'll have either fixed or can inspect what's causing it to be stuck. Maybe a screw out of place or rail pit on backwards? Good luck!
You literally just type "Toy Chainsaw" in Amazon search and hundreds of these come up, but I see there is still one for sale at around $12 ish dollars. www.amazon.com/Bubble-Factory-Electric-moveable-Effect/dp/B08QPTY5Q1/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2F96QKYPAJ8ZA&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.DDKcI0dZ2xW-Q6ozt2DyUtV1_TqHefwokcYa7Spl4AT2buyilwnOLVQC1QaWA68oDSsxJ0r1OsMrp2aIy58yrT8eRW6yFg9wPAo890jqjaB-bebmVUphSWENMq_M4P2B7ipnTFXiuGpOoEyJ2lMOpO0iDHv4pFr6fRtaDzE8-I67zsFWkO56GL46Ie_-lVJuNwDsINnfw7CO7bDC-WfeMvEHYI__IKrGK-UJmuYM_wq6XQdYKBUi91nPC-qVwb4nJQfWnGe4vf9HWJBEFX7DX7bKq_YDolwJljANANk5UkE.y5CSk9IG3UULRbK1N28AeURuDMN-IuRm6FodsvUUcSc&dib_tag=se&keywords=toy+chainsaw&qid=1716065916&sprefix=toy+chainsaw%2Caps%2C138&sr=8-6
Check out the Hinox and Molduking builds and that will give you a better idea of how this one will turn out. Yeah, It's a mix between love and Hate when I make stuff like this. Its a pain because I don't have a ton of time, but figuring out how to make it work and then seeing the finished piece makes it worth while.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2LRvDYmNy5E.html Adam Savage made a great video on Paneling. The model could use paneling and bunch of minor detailing break up the super smooth lines of the bottle.
Thanks for the comment! This take inspiration from the 50s/60s/70s experimental "lifting body aircraft" test planes and modern hypersonic orbital/suborbital planes being developed today. I had considered using a scriber on it for some detail lines, but just didn't feel like using it on this one. Maybe the next one? I considered it, but this was an experiment on a sort of look I am going for to get away from that (now very common) "Star Wars" design school on the look of spaceships. I'd like to go even cleaner (less beat up and worn) if possible.
I found the screws to be an infinitely better attachment solution than glue. Its almost like they were designed to hold things together right? Who knew? 🤣
I don't believe I've ever used it. Bottom line is it hard to find vendors sometimes who have the original formula (kneadatite) and in two separate piece rather than a ribbon and even then, it may be old and not in the best condition to use. Nothing wrong with the ribbon style it's just prone to inclusions as I described. One I can say for certain to stay away from is where it's a sausage roll with on color embedded inside the other like a corndog or a Beef Wellington.
You got a printer? Congratulations! My biggest concern is the evacuation of the VOCs. I may give it a go with a couple of carbon filters and a mask though.
