I got my hearing aids yesterday. I’m 36 and I’ve been putting it off for 10+ years because i was embarrassed. I cried the first time I put them on. It was so overwhelming. I love them already.
6 months ago my left pop and the ringing in that ear became unbearable. While I had some ringing in both ears the volume in my left one now sounds as if someone has turned it up to the max. I have to wear earbuds at night just to be able to fall asleep. I am being fitted for a hearing air next week to see if that will help. I would rather be deaf on that side than try to cope with it. If this dosen't work I don't know what else to do.
