Hi my name is Christina! Welcome to Cooking With Chow!

For me, food is not just about satisfying hunger - it is about the experience that is created while eating it! Food is the glue that brings and holds people together while also helping to create long-lasting memories. Food is a vessel that helps to transcend language barriers and cultures - to help befriend strangers in a foreign land.

Cooking food is a representation of who I am and the way I cook is influenced by my life experiences. Cooking is my own creative outlet. It is a representation of my past, present, and future: the food from my past is indicative of my history growing up in an Asian cultural background, the food from the present is an illustration of my current abilities, and the food of my future projects the type of cook that I aspire to be.

I welcome you to join me on this journey and long-time dream of mine to share my personal recipes with you all!

One correction I would like to make, if Imay, is that doubanjiang which is the chili bean paste uses broad beans plus soy beans and not black beans.

Ever try asian style raw marinate style sourbratin snichel lobster tail or crayfish that was cooked after marinated but added limbuger powder from freeze drying with bourbon and brandy to bread to add flamby to mix - maybe pan fry - no deep fry , well don't want your house to explode with flames

Did you know that the English ran the French out of Canada so they move to Louisiana and started to eat crayfish as substitute for lobster and that is how England became a royaling party in Canada with it red coat mounties and also the reason American got short sheeted on Alaska so can block progress and have a royal monopoly over everybody by not giving you anything if by land because still own it and all right to land ,but in reality it still owes land that took when governed the trial over land with one sided coin- like its deals by the way that is mine too after before ink dried ( should of let Hitler kill them ) because of by the way you get hand of scale to block progress with didn't do nothing wrong but take all the healthy top parts to feed the people the poop ( time get them out of Alaska and look at land they took , because it put that gold and oil back( by the way)
