I agree; this song should have stayed. First of all, the lines following 'an open all cages at the zoo kind of stupid' are so fucking great (and true AF). "You're the only enemy you ever seem to loose to" OMG IF THAT Isn't The TRUEST SHIT. I also loved her lines about Jefferson not responding to rumours and shit and that's why he isn't losing. And then I have infinite love for Angelica's lines about how much she loves her sister and will choose for her to be happy over herself every time. I just love this song.
Why was I scared when the instruments came out I had started thinking one would go on the mans foot and break it so my foot started hurting lol!But if the song was let on the show burn would be my second favorite song and congratulations was gonna be first
Angelica was such a complicated character in Lin's rendition. Like "I love my sister more than anything so don't hurt her, but also I love you so you can cheat with me, and also how dare you cheat on both Eliza and me with Mariah? I always imagined Angelica was jealous and scared that Alexander would somehow reveal their own affair. Her love for her sister did not override the passion she had for Alexander until she read the Reynold's pamphlet. He really should have gone away with them for the summer break.
