Thanks. Learnt couple things here. Love the double bagging, in case you over throw over to many limbs but need to only isolate 1 for pulling a Alpine loop up. 👍👍
Double bagging (definition) - when you're dating a girl so ugly you have to use 2 paper bags to put over her face when banging her in case 1 falls off! So I've heard.
maxdecphoenix alpine butterfly is better in this situation as it’s a more snug knot midline, it can also be loaded all three ways. In addition if you add a caribiner and pulley (split one that you can add midline to a rope) then this alpine butterfly knot will pull out with no friction.
Great video. I use ALT mostly an never thought to use an Alpine in that way. An tying off to the base or a nearby always has made me nervous around less experienced guys.
i think rope walker beats all systems chestbox also u dont need to even touch the rope just walk right up this has been a good system for me but to everone is different.
@Bo0mer...that's right! either the same throwing line or another strong line will just do the job remotely from the ground...with the other system with the alpine butterfly you need to be sure you have enough rope length to be able to recover your rope from the ground...
+boriquabro Yessir, you beat me to it. I use a braided mason line for throw line. I forget the size, but it's almost thick as boot lace. It's a real tight weave cord, somewhere app 40 lb test, and cheap ! I frequently see almost no signs of abrasion.
Hey I am 14yrs old and I do abseiling and climbing. But what I don't know is how to actually set up a rope properly and safely when I am on my own. Could you please make a video on how or tell me if there is a great one you have made or know of. Please write soon really desperate. Thank you!!!
Hello friend, I climb trees in Brazil and would like to learn Branch Walking, you know of any instructional video and what is the necessary equipment to be able to walk on thin branches? Congratulations for the beautiful video
Probably replying a bit late to reply haha, Always keep your weight in your harness and use a shorter lanyard to hitch the branch up when it starts to drop
Good Video, nice technique. Do you even put load on your Croll while climbing or only in rest position ? I will try your method but with a Petzl Microcender instead of the Croll and a Petzl Ascension instead of the Micro Frog. U think thats gonna work out ?
I see these men are not taught to put rope protection when descending, ropes are rubbing against the sharp edge of the container. How so? They must be IRATA L3 or what?
if you boys are looking for to get ripped much faster without spending a single another minute in the gym, then you really want to keep an eye on this online video SIXPP.COM So long as governments set the example of killing their enemies, private individuals will occasionally kill theirs.
This just changed my life. I have been using a traditional frog system, which works, but is not the fastest or most efficient system. This makes it twice as efficient, and twice as fast. My old frog system was like climbing a ladder, but every other step, having both feet on the same rung. Now I am alternating like you would normally climb a ladder, or stairs. Pantin is now on order. Thanks!
