Ohh wow, I didn’t even know about an Epic Armoury launch here in America, that’s awesome! No worries about having to postpone launch though, this is normal here in the US, nothing goes as expected and it’s something new every day. It’s kinda like getting distracted with side quests while on a main quest. You still have my trust, Epic Armoury!
After being a boy scout and going to summer camps in tents for a week at a time, learned a huge liking for tent camping. That's coming from some whom grew up with a family cabin to go to for vacations and such. At one point I got involved in 18th century reenacting pretty much to learn the primitive way of camping in period attire I had purchased a 12 Ft X12 Ft center pole white Egyptian cotton Marquee. Knew the set up I wanted. Which included stove port with flap and a roof vent with flap... Plenty of room . I got to work on actual 18th century style of camping repairable lot more sturdy then plastic (BS) furniture/furnishings. There are wood working plans on line. Complete with cook box mounted on a perimeter pole that when open has counter space. Knock down bunk bed. Wood stove (I make) that burns wood, pellets , coal and my drain oil for heat in the winter. Yes I camp all 4 seasons in this tent Summer vacations, Fall and winter hunting, spring seasons.. I have a net that strings up along the whole complete side of one wall, ceiling to floor, which gives a screened in porch like atmosphere thru out the day and night. With the roof flap opened a gentile breeze is always present caused by the up draft created by heat rise thru the roof vent. Summer cooking (I Usually don't do camp fires) cook on a Coleman stove on top of one of the wooden storage camp boxes which bring the Coleman stove up to normal cooking counter height. What I'm saying is, there is literally no constant bending over back breaking existence the whole time. I have made 18th century folding table with folding stools . I use candle box to which many say with 2 or 3 of the boxes lite and the tent being white, has an ambiance about it that is very peaceful. I do have half of a baker tent that I can put on one of the walls should I have guest but, usual prefer not to have guest. I'm single and have no children. There is so much you can do and build for yourself with unending ideas. With the things and sizes you can make/fit your needs for your whole family. I will say this for your none experience regarding the double poll marque's, you do need 2 people to set up the tent. Also, remember too, for the winter camps. More space means more heat needed. Some use a portable gas inferred heater(s) with the hose going out under the sod flaps to a 40 lb. bottle that's covered for the 18th century gigs, rather than pushing and over heating a wood stove. Oh yes I put a floor down with 2-4x8' plastic tarps, cover them with 2-4x8' white canvas painter tarps and the sod flaps tucked between the two. Take a showers ? yep, have a pulley top of the center pole Stand in a container, run a solar shower bag up (solar for summer and stove with water jacket for the winter hot shower) works great each and every night . Refreshing to be clean like that, makes for a way much more enjoy outing. Those needs for your personal. there is plenty of options out there to meet/handle those needs...rock on ...
This video isn't super helpful in actual setup. Doesn't show the inside of the tent, doesn't mention the absolute instability of the inside poles, and honestly for the supposed size of the 4x6 meter tent, the inside available/functional space is smaller than our old 13×13ft yurt. We're actually pretty mad that we're probably stuck with this $1000 tent now since we took it out of the package but you know how else would we have known about the size disparity without opening it since there are no images or video of the inside?

Well, with it being made out of foam, you almost certainly won't be electrocuted by a lightning strike. So there's that. Although, a groundstrike could travel through all the standing water which would pretty much leave you zapped, and barbecued. Quick, stand on the foam weapon. Problem solved. Crisis averted! "Hallo, guys. Why does my new axe have a 30cm boot print on the side of the blade?" "Uh, that was for quality testing purposes. Yeah, that's it. And good news: your axe passed. Huzzah!"

The cold gambeson helps the muscles work a bit better so you don't get that tired at the beginning, hence the results. But you should try swimming in a thin shirt vs a gambeson. That's going to show you the real downside of wet clothing.

The Adjustable Scabbard could work well with a HEMA sword, but it isn't easy to provide an adequate answer as they come in many sizes. What is the width, depth and length of your sword? @@Epic-Armoury the length is 77.5, the width is 4 cm at the base, and the depth is negligible. It is a straight arming sword, doubt you have anything that would fit a Hungarian sabre.

Hi, usually you would attach your shoulder spaulders by using the holes in your gambeson or, if your gambeson doesn't have the necessary holes, you can go for an extra Shoulder Gambeson which will allow you to attach them at the shoulders: epicarmoury.com/products/1395-scout-shoulder-gambeson
Interesting but yes you could bring swords to an arrow fight but if you know there are going to be bows and arrows then don't just bring swords also bring bows and arrows
You know, this fight would’ve worked out differently if you guys had shields. Hard to get hit by arrow fire when you’re hiding behind a shield. Especially since you all have one handed arming swords with a free off hand. Plate armor would’ve also help your situation as well. Just food for thought.
