Welcome to my Channel! I’ve created over 400 flight videos and trip reports on various airlines and aircraft from across the United States and Europe. I aim to make high-quality aviation videos in 4K that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home. If you love aviation then I highly recommend checking out my channel.
You and Skylite are up there with some of the most authentic and realistic inflight footage on RU-vid. Really helps when I'm not flying myself! Another great flight.
Do ya know the back story of the 717?? It really isn't a Boeing aircraft, it was originated in St Louis as an MD-98 as I recall, and were sold to AirTrans which is why the "N" number ends in AT. I know because I worked for AT some 22 yrs ago when they bought these, but Boeing stepped in and bought MD so Boeing rebranded them to the 717. And eventually a deal went thru between SW and AT for SW to buy ALL the AT routes but the planes mostly went to Delta. So any of the 717's you see will end with the AT, you were parked next to N971AT at the gate. they were nice when new for sure. Not often at ATL do you go from gate straight to cleared for Take off. BTW all the AirTrans gates at ATL were on the southend of "B" concourse.
@@moparluvrsgagarage2898 Yes I do know the 717 was developed originally by McDonnell Douglas as the MD-95. I loved flying on the MD80s before they were retired by both American and Delta. As for Air Tran I never got the chance to fly on them before they merged, but I remember seeing their planes parked at MCI a few times when flying out of there.
First and great fly! Do you have airline loyal program that lets you earn points/miles and use that to book a flight? Example includes: Delta's SkyMiles, United's MileagePlus, American Airline's AAdvantage etc.
A total solar eclipse will occur between August 22 & 23, 2024. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby totally or partly obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth. A total eclipse took place on April 8, 2024.
@@RoadsOfAsiaBen Thanks! I have not taken Amtrak, I wanted to try the Missouri River Runner back when I lived in KC but never got the chance to. If there were more frequencies/routes and we had high speed trains I’d be more compelled to take them more often but unfortunately that’s not the case.
I'd love to have a job where I could fly as often as you do. How do you fix the camera to window. Holding the camera for that long and never moving is impossible. Nice video Luna
I actually do hold my camera up to the window for that long. I've been doing this for 6 years combined with the digital stabilization from the iPhone makes the video extremely stable. Thanks for watching!
Nice video. But I am baffled why anyone would fly Southwest for a 5 or 6 hour flight. Some people must think they're getting a " bargain." But they're not!! Southwest has done a nice job promoting this perception of them having cheap fares. Well, today (July 2024) you can fly CHEAPER on one (maybe more than one, I didn't check all the airlines) major airline, than you can on Southwest, to Maui. And on Southwest, you have to fly thru at least one city from LAX, before you head to Maui. The major airline is direct to Maui. Southwest has those horribly cramped, sardine can 737 MAX's -- a plane that even some pilots question. The major airline does offer bigger, more comfortable planes on some of the flights. With assigned seating. Southwest gives you a box of little package snacks. The major airline gives you an actual meal!! And the major airline offers seatback video screens on many of the flights. It begs the question -- why would anyone choose Southwest for this long flight?!
