you need an encoder to keep track of the motor movements... i think there are some encoder/driver boards that attach on the back of the motor available

Finally a solution that makes sense! Ambu bags are temporary solution and are very traumatic for the lungs, especially for a patient with decreased lung capacity!

Yum. Very nicely done Trinamic. I love the eval board. I also love the on board solution for the TMCM 1617. Perhaps height may play an issue in applications. Any consideration to make a low profile version?

I am using the TMC5160 in an AGV project for my employer and can say that this video is accurate. Hardly any coding to make stepper motors move when using the built in motion controller.

I just got my first Trinamic board, a TMCM-6110. All my other stepper drivers just went in the trash. It isn't cheap but MAN is it quiet. Motors run ice cold and have a boatload of torque. I. Love. It.

Got several 2208s and 2x 2209s and they are so good, I just threw away my old ones. Didn't even bother ebaying them.

nice video. I'm surprised you have so little views + subs! Such a great product, I have them in my DeltaMaker2 and it's so quiet now. The only noise is from the fan now. Soon I will buy more for my ender 3 and cr 10s, but I have to replace the motherboards for that, gotta save up for a minute.

Very good and interesting video. Undergrad student here that is very interested in BLDC drives. Have experience with VESC but this seems so nice to develop your own!

I now use the TMC2208 which replace my old A4988 drivers. The stealthChop2 mode is great, it works on every axis on my printer without any problems, including the extruder (thanks to a 3:1 gear reduction). That's what I call quality! Even the look and feel of the PCB is better than on these cheap ones.
