ITS TEAROUT, i not tryna be mean but SVDDENDEATH. is the hard hitting bass, the bass that slaps you into next week. You can really tell between danny’s sound and mello’s
The older stuff is better. Check out the LIVE performance at the CDMX Teatro........the song ' Z '.......and the song ' Queen of the Murder Scene '. You won't regret it.
Second comment, it occurs to me that you might be very interested in some of they're early work when they were literally kids. One amazing video is they're cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" when they were 9 (Ale on bass), 12 (Pau on drums), and 14 (Dany on guitar and lead vocals). Notice the vast difference between young Ale and Ale now in "Hell You Call a Dream". And even at 9 y.o., she had mastered that bass. As others have mentioned, their performances in their concert at the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX are very representative. "23" as mentioned below, but others I would recommend include "Choke" and their new cover of "Enter Sandman" that they collaborated on with Alessia Cara (and there's a music video of that as well).
Over all, I found your commentary fascinating and so glad you gave positive feedback and advice to the band. It's refreshing to hear it. Regarding your commentary on Quin''s vocal evolution, The Warning girls (grown ups now), especially Dany, must have gone through the same thing. If you listen to they're earlier recordings vs what they sound like now, do you see Dany's voice similar to Quinn's? And/or Pau's? We don't get to hear much from Ale, apparently by her own choice.
The shorter singer playing guitar started the band, wrote most of the music and was the lead singer, but decided that a better singer was needed. True maidiacs will correct and clarify.
The vast majority of the warning army are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. There are a few, though, that probably should just learn to calm down :) I personally always enjoy hearing songs I like through someone else's ears. Especially someone with a different set of knowledge and listening skills that I don't have.
Great details on the vocals - thanks for going into detail! For me, the mix and bass sound fine on my setup, but maybe its just a preference. Hope you keep up with Freeze the Fall, I think they will be part of a rock renaissance along with The Warning and Plush.
A delightfully entertaining and educational reaction. You have a stream of consciousness/conversational tone in your presentation that make it relatable. You speak clearly, but don't drown out the sound of the music video, and you add captions to make sure people know what you said. You also add captions to further clarify points you make so that explanations aren't too long. Your enthusiasm is obvious which makes it more engaging. Last May Freeze The Fall uploaded seven videos from a live performance that they did. Two of those were covers. One of those covers was Evolve by The Warning. This is what got my attention, and the attention of other The Warning fans. Hence the crossover you are seeing in the fan bases. The originals, Masquerade, Daughters of Witches, One Left Standing, Insomnia, and 46, are what got me to subscribe. Masquerade definitely has some dissonance to it, which makes sense as it is a song about putting on an appearance to try to match what others think you should be, or what they want to see. The disclaimer with the time stamp was nicely done. I feel that you did a good job explaining what you were talking about, and it wasn't too technical or overlong. While Glitch was their debut single, it is actually the newest song that they have out. It is about being too empathic, and wanting to be less so. To be "robotic", so I guess the fact it is more restrained makes sense. If you really want to go back to the start, Insomnia was the first song that they wrote. It is one of the songs they have a live performance video of. (Hint hint check it out. Even if you don't react to it I think you will enjoy it, and it isn't on the EP so RU-vid is the only place to hear it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y3tmuUc5agQ.html ) Enjoyed the reaction, and glad that you checked out Freeze The Fall. :)
Great reaction and analysis; upgraded to Notify! Thank you for checking out FTF, they're a great band with a lot of potential. I agree that the bass sits better in the Glitch mix, but I don't think it's "too much" in M; I'm going to be listening for that specifically directly off the CD and see how it sounds. I really do appreciate you commenting on two of their songs to get a better feel for the band, and I look forward to more reactions from you.
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for watching! Oo I’m curious how it will sound from the cd, let me know what you think. I personally feel it’s way overpowering Quinn’s voice, but other people may prefer a more dominating bass sound. Glitch felt much more balanced in my ears 👂🏻
@@Annabellelinker Well, listening through wireless headphones and through a USB audio interface plus JBL active monitors (not high-end by any means, but a couple steps up from "computer speakers"), I'm not getting an overpowering bass. If anything, it seems a little too low/buried. I usually find it pretty easy to follow the bass line, especially in a three-piece, but I kind of had to work for it. Oh well, it's all good. Different gear, different ears, different opinion. Looking forward to your next reaction!
@@Annabellelinker YT lost the comment I posted last night, so let's see if I'm awake enough to remember it 😆. I'm not hearing too much bass; to me, it's pretty far down in the mix. I usually don't have any trouble following the bass (especially in a three-piece), but I find I've got to focus a bit to track it on this one. I listened with a decent set of wireless headphones and through a pair of small JBL active monitors + Presonus USB audio interface (not high-end audio gear by any means, but a couple steps above the built-in sound card and typical computer speakers.) Oh well, it's all good. Different gear, different ears, different opinion. I'm glad you like the band and I guess we can continue this battle of the ears on the next video 😁.
@@joeturner1181 Hey Joe, YT has lost some of my comments, but some of them eventually showed up. I noticed it happening more often if I include non-YT links. Other times I suspected a key word triggered a block. I wonder if the YT algorithms tag comments for review. Or maybe the posting just takes a while 🤷🏻♂. You'll notice that both your posts eventually showed up. One trick I've learned is to copy the post before saving, then refreshing the page and checking to see if the post appears. If not, I'll wait a while to see if it eventually shows up. If it still doesn't then I'll review what I wrote to see if there might be a problem, but lately it's mostly been a OK as long as I'm careful what I post.
Great in depth review Annabelle, they do have a great future and with guidance will definitely achieve their goal. I enjoyed your vocal nerdery, you’re in the same league as my other favourite vocal nerd The Fairy Voice Mother - also goes by the name Lolli Wren (her singer name). She’s in the process of releasing her debut album at the moment and has released a couple of singles - the first one was a cover of the Trent Reznor NIN / Johnny Cash song Hurt, it was so emotional 😢, she’s also released 2 other songs - definitely worth a listen and maybe some critique!
❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄ You're the first one (other than myself) that I've heard say that Quinn sounds like Lacy Sturm (Flyleaf) to me they sound a lot alike minus the harsh vocal parts of course. Hope you check out more from them.
@Annabellelinker This is the second video of yours I've seen and I really like your format. So much more than just a reaction, a lot like The Fairy Voice Mother. Not sure if your familiar with Lolli's channel or her music but I highly recommend checking out her new song Build A Sea. She is a vocal coach, great singer song writer and awesome person.
Fun fact #2: I have no idea why he was in their city, 1300 miles from home, but Freeze The Fall was playing yesterday at a Fathers day gig in the park, and Lonny Eagleton from Black Veil Brides watched them perform, then met and chatted with them after the show. Still waiting on THAT story. Update: turns out he's originally from their city, AND went to the same high school!
the band will pop in when they have the time. they interact with fans and reactors and are truly humble people. The song that hooked me was a throw away song they threw together to be able to play a school function called One Left Standing. there is a live version that is older but the changes make it even better
Fun fact: they shot all 5 videos for this ep in a borrowed, unheated, 20°f/-7°c barn in late December. In order to get full/mid/closeup shots, they had to do 15 costume changes, each time making sure they put on everything exactly the same.
@@Annabellelinker Oh, they froze! If you look closely in the Daughters Of Witches video, Quinn's hands are very red. I drove 250 miles back to my home town to see them play in April, and I'll be seeing them 3 more times this summer. They are the real deal. Thank you so much for giving them such an in depth reaction!
Annabelle! Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and react and share with your audience. Appreciate all your insights! We are already deep into writing new music for the second EP. So stay tuned for what's coming next!
Yes, I admit it-The end of this video turns into a voice lesson 😂 I usually am more tame but I was excited today! Quinn, if you get to the part where I’m sticking my thumbs in my mouth and want to run away, that’s okay 😂😂😂 Hope everyone’s week is off to a good start 🎉
Mushroomhead came out with a new song today, so I’m dropping it here please. Song is called “Fall in Line.” Check them out and if you never heard of them, they have a on stage performance that is so amazing. That could sometimes even might scare you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yOKeoej68Xw.htmlsi=e4mRdHhcaT01pSMC
I think one of Dany's best songs vocally is Crimson Queen, but they never performed it often. It was also recorded when she was around 18 tho so she has developed since then. In the Foro Didi concert in particular her guitar audio messed up so she stopped playing halfway through and just belted it.
0:10 There are so many choices for warning songs and each is different than the next. Their live performances far exceed their music videos in my opinion. Personally first song is not my favorite, but Sick charting in the top 20 on the billboard rock chart! Here is an example of Dany singer singing solo higher register. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tPNcRdw4dws.htmlsi=EDoVtL_ksTasOwrA I loved your reaction and insightful comments. Welcome to the Warning! This is a power trio of Mexican sisters. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band, and currently are only in their late teens and early twenties. They started in grade school! They came onto the worldwide scene with their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were only 14, 12, and 9! That RU-vid video went viral and was just the beginning of what was to come. Time to learn the girls' names! Dany is the lead singer and guitarist, age 24. Pau is drummer and can be second lead singer, also does backups, age 22. Ale is the bassist and backup singer, age 19. All three also play piano as they are classically trained! Their full names are Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal. Many of us became hooked on the Warning with their two Tedx performances in 2016 and 2017. For further reactions, I would also use the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert. It was professionally recorded so the audio and video were phenomenal. There are many of their best songs in that concert. And more currently some new ones from their coming 4th album in June. Enjoy the rabbit hole as they have over 400 videos on their channel and over 65 original songs. You've been warned!
Please check out the band Mushroomhead and song is “Fall in Line”. I guarantee you will love it and they wear masks for their stage gimmick. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yOKeoej68Xw.htmlsi=demU6l9CLDvHc9CZ
I love that you do these videos for TX2 they are amazing can you make a a reaction video of you listening to his song called tow pills please can you listen to it is one of his older songs
This song is super-catchy and has a great sound. But I am deeply saddened by the abuse and suffering he has endured from which it-and much of his other music (as I understand it)-is borne. He seems like a hard-working musical artist striving to produce quality work that likely serves as an inspiration-and in many cases, a lifeline-to others. I hope as time passes more light from the kinder side of humanity will focus on him, like a giant stage spotlight, banishing the shadows and darkness from humanity’s underbelly away. Also, on a lighter note-for heaven’s sake, David Bowie was wearing dresses a billion years ago (I’m old, but not quite *that* old, lol, so Idk the specific album(s) /dates off the top of my head (and if I wanted to torture everyone I could list a gazillion more examples of artists/athletes/stars etc wearing “non-conforming” (is that the right term?) outfits. But people still get shocked/upset? That is so crazy! Then again, if somebody isn’t a little ticked off, is it rock?🤘🏻 Please discuss. 😃

Can you please check out the song “The Devourer” by Imminence. It’s one of IMMINENCE’S HEAVIEST SONG FROM 2012. This was when Imminence started to try to find their sound. I don’t think you ever checked this out this song by them unless by yourself. It’s really good and it’s from 2012. This is 3 years after that they came out. Check out Eddie Berg the violinist singer take the stage…… ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UCwlQKfbiM4.htmlsi=8vSVY2BvdQ3rD0Gj
