Very slow, they take time to let people catch up and also the enforced slow down at Forest Gates also keeps the pace down. I would say 16km or less than 10mph. A really easy pace.
It’s called Magho viewpoint. It’s at the top of a narrow climb on the West of the Lough. Search for magho viewpoint and you will find it in google maps.
Thanks for the comment and totally agree on the weather, that's 2 years of mixed rain and cloud. Later in the year would certainly give us a better chance at dry weather.
That's great; you have just about every type of road type in one space. Certainly, enough variation to make for a nice full day of riding. I bumped into a local rider called Stuart in the morning and he was enjoying the island lifestyle and cycling into retirement.
Glad you liked it, i really like the terrain which is very different to my home county of Sussex. The lack of hedges makes for a much nicer view in the New Forest.
Lovely bag. I just received the same bag in olive and use it on the front of my Kona Sutra. Sits perfectly between the bars but I did use a Restrap Bumper Bar to keep it off the head tube. Really nice quality design, build and materials.
I did tag you a while back yes, probably using another account. This is a small channel I just started for capturing the occasional cycling product review or ride. I also spotted you dropping off my stickers in the mailbox 👍on one your local ride updates. First time I had seen the end-2-end delivery process for an online order. ;) Thanks for posting a comment.
Thanks so much for this video. I was there on Sunday, such a great day and unbelievable weather. Watching this has allowed me to re-live the experience again from the comfort of my sofa 🙂
