My name is Sabrina and I have always been obsessed with skincare. I have moved to the United States from Italy when I was 19 years old and at that point I did not even know what acne was. Then the change in food, environment and hormones caused a great skin concern. I remember not even going out for a year or so except to go to school and work because I was embarrassed. Make-up did not save me. It did not fix the problem. My lifestyle, skincare, time, and a dermatologist saved my skin. I am so glad to share my story. I am obsessed with skincare, nail care and more and I would like to share my passion with ALL of you! When my son was diagnosed with cancer, he suffered from skin rashes due to chemotherapy. La Mer was the only product, particularly the original cream, that SAVED his skin. I recently changed my focus to primarily La Mer products. I will still discuss other brands and my routine, but La Mer will always be central to this channel.
*_I am so, so sorry. I hate to see kids suffer. My dad is battling AML right now, and it doesn't look good. The side effects of the medications is horrible too. Praying for you._* ❤
Good morning, and thank you for your review of this product. I just recently received my purchase, and I actually just cracked it open for a first use this morning. I'm wondering if I might have applied it out of step, or if maybe used too much, as the gel burned the skin around my eyes (one more than the other, decidedly) upon contact. The sensation didn't last overly long, but it was far more jarring than I had initially anticipated, based off of Dr. Idriss' demonstration of application on her channel. The only discrepancy I could note was that she appeared to be applying the arnica gel essentially first thing in the morning, straight out the gate, prior to washing her face or anything. I *did* wash my face beforehand with a vitamin C complex cleanser, which I'm wondering if that was the immediate conflict and irritant. But once the product settled and the sting dissipated, it acted as promised. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge on this product!
You know, Vitamin C is powerful. I would say that this product is very compatible with her other products overall because there is another type of vitamin C in them. However, Vitamin C from other products (other brands) might be different (concentration etc). So I personally remain cautious in mixing vitamin C with anything else. I usually use vitamin C on nights that I am not using anything else or plain moisturizers. Vitamin C reacts with everything on my skin. Try this product where you truly need it and I would test it on other parts of the body first before using it near your eyes. But yes, this is the type product that I use only if needed and I keep in my medicine cabinet.
I apply mine first thing in the morning before washing my face. I only use water in the morning to wash my face though and still find the depuffer helps me quite a bit. Plus it just feels good and wakes me up with the cold roller
You look so incredibly youthful. When you said you were nearing your end of pregnancy term I was shocked 😮 I wish you a smooth delivery. Nice products.
Is it non comedogenic and fragrance free alcohol free and oil free it really won’t clog your pores and does she cell any cleaner is this moisturiser good for sensitive skin won’t irritate it .
It is good for dry skin, but I think for the winter you might need something heavier for the winter at night. I cannot find it on Amazon. I purchased it on the company's website.
I'm glad your husband supports you and it seems you support him. It is so hard having little littles.I am glad you are finding outlets for yourself. "the days are long but the years are short"
How long do the products last? A month, 3 months? You said results were noticeable within a month but was it the product alone or does the red light micro current device also helps. You also use Tretinoin so how do you know if t's not the Tretinoin that is producing the results and not the PillowTalk products?
I will number the answers to your questions: 1) moisturizer two months or max three I would say depending on how much you use. I use one pump in the morning and one in the evening; serum comes with two cartridges and each last 1 month; mask can last for longer than 2 months if you use it once every week I would say. Again it depends on how much you use. 2) the red micro current device is not something I use everyday but I do feel it maximizes the performance of the products and better absorption 3) I don't know the answer about Tretinoin. I can only tell you I stopped Tretinoin in May because of pregnancy and my skin is doing well without it. I am still using the products. Hopefully this helped. 👌
Yes. I have used one cleanser for years which is LaMer the foaming cleanser. It is the best. I also use the Tatcha cleansing oil as the first cleansing step at night. You can buy the travel size versions to test out!
