Mary Higgins Clark (1927-2020) was the author of worldwide bestsellers that sold more than one hundred million copies in the United States alone. Twenty-one of her books reached the #1 spot on the New York Times bestsellers list. She was chosen by Mystery Writers of America as Grand Master of the 2000 Edgar Awards. An annual Mary Higgins Clark Award sponsored by Simon & Schuster, to be given to authors of suspense fiction writing in the Mary Higgins Clark tradition, was launched by Mystery Writers of America in 2001. She was the 1987 president of Mystery Writers of America and, for many years, served on their board of directors. In 1988, she served as chairperson of the International Crime Congress.

This one hasn’t been my favorite. Story could’ve been told in half the time.I’m not a fan of ESP etc either.

What I want to know is why was Maggie allowed to stay in Neula's house which was a crime scene?

Her daughter-n-law Mary Jane Clark writes mystery books in a similar style and I've really enjoyed them. If you like MHC you will like MJK.

Hm, well that was a boring end! Also kind of obvious who the killer was and who wasnt. The narrator was kinda annoying but iv listened to worse.

Such an interesting life. The way men courted women and married them is far more charming than the horror that is dating now.

Such a wonderful story about an amazing life! I especially like stories that take place place in NYC and hearing about how things were in the different boroughs years ago. My son moved from a small town in Ohio to NYC when he was fresh out of college at the tender age of 20 years old, seven years ago. I hate hearing about the state the city is currently in, and wish people would wake up and put people in charge that can get crime under control by doing away with soft on crime DA's and judges, along with no cash bail policies!

I loved listening to this story. I also grew up in The Bronx it was referred to as the "Sticks"" because of the many trees that still lined the streets. Born in December 1944.a lot of events and places were familar to me. Thanks for the memories
