The motorcycle was counter-flowing to pass. Motorcycles in the Philippines are a menace. They more often than not drive lawlessly. But tricycles (I call them "toy vehicles") should have limited access on bigger roads - they are quite exposed, and they move too slowly. They are not a menace like the motorcycles, but they are an annoyance.
Depends on the tricycles weight of the passenger and the amount of metal used for the seats and the roofs whatever you call that, the way you said “ they move too slowly “ isn’t most of the tricycles we own a tricycle which can go very fast on accelerating and speed it also depends on the person thats driving it. Not all people are slow and fast. If your a filipino i don’t wanna say “ toy vehicles “ to the tricycle. The real toy vehicles are the e-bikes due to the fact i see them traveling in long highways like malolos to manila. You can see that the e-bike was slower accelerating in the first part and that she need to know whats fast and slow is.

A similar thing happened to me, using an ebike going home from school, doing a u turn, speeding motorcycle in a school zone hits me, good thing I heard him early on and I got to adjust my ebike to be able to only receive minimal damage and got to get off before the ebike falling down, I wasn't hurt but I got some bruises on my thighs, police blames me because I don't have a license, despite me being the one getting hit...
In your case, you dont have the right to drive any vehicle using any roads and highways because you don't have a drivers license wherein before getting a license you will undergo driving school lessons as well as the laws governing the traffic rules and regulations in our country.
Does anyone know the final result? The injuries of the trike driver, passenger, motorcycle driver? We live in Manila and have an e-trike very similar to the one in this accident. There is no lesson to learn in this crash, the e-trike driver was careful, and the motor cycle driver was not. Never even tried to swerve away or slow down. Very bad thing. Always look both ways twice.

There are speed limits in the Philippines, if you don't know this then it's definitely you got your license from a bogus way. Open street like this with houses, building and people, should only have 40kph
Wala dapat sa national road mga ebike walang mga lisensiya walang mga insurance. Walang alam sa disgrasya mga yan, karamihan makikita mo mga matatanda ang gumagamit. Yung bike naman speeding, makaka hinto sana yan kung hindi mabilis takbo.
Sobrang Bobo ng naka Motor parang action star na bumbay na may hinahabol amputa. . titigan nyo yung naunag motor at yung ibang mga sasakyan sa video. tapos titigan nyo kung gaano kabilis yung idiot na nakamotor. kahit hindi e-bike yun mag kakaroon parin ng disgrasya dahil sa sobrang bilis ng naka motor.
