Great to find this ! I actually knew Rocker Kenny Smith although I was a bit younger than him and not old enough to have been either a Mod or Rocker at the time. Kenny was a smashing fella and a skilled man as well. He was the only man I knew that could weld aluminium which is difficult to do. Sadly I an guessing Kenny is no longer with us so here's a little secret we had. For a short period he actually rode a Honda but not many people knew that. However last time I saw him he was on his featured Triton .Great film.

If only I'd known how much I'd miss those days. I can still see the transport cafe, The Woodley, on the A34 we used to go to as pubs wouldn't let us in. The Woodley was open 24/7 as well 😊

This was to be the Final Interview of Fr Graham Hullett, One Of The Three Founding Fathers of the 59 Club in the 60's... 3 months later Fr Graham passed away in Lincoln Hospital after a operation failed... That date was 5th, December, 2012... Past members from the 59 club meet on the first Sunday of every December, 12 midday at Lincoln Cathedral to pay our respects. The 'Spirit Of 59' Legacy Rockers was set up by Lenny Paterson to keep Fr Grahams name alive. For many he was the Spirit within the 59 Club. The other Founding Fathers were Fr John Oates who created the 59 Youth club in 1959 & Fr Bill Shergold (R.I.P) who created the 59 Motorcycle club in 1962. Fr Graham along with Fr Bill created the Constitution of the 59 club. On Sunday, 5, Dec, 2021 we once again meet at 12 midday in Lincoln Cathedral. There will be a short memorial service held in the Mary Chapel where Fr Grahams Memorial bench is placed. His Ashes are placed in the Cloisters in the Cathedral. There is a Inscribed stone Tablet on the floor with his Full name Fr Frederick Graham Hullett. His Kindness, Guidance & Leadership are remembered & respected each year... Rest In Peace my friend !

Wow, thanks for posting this, lovely to see so many old friends again (and me when slim n hairy, and at the bar again ! lol ) . Forgot the town hall venue was so "posh" haha. At this point it looked like being a great day, and then tragedy struck, so very sad...

Remember this day so very well. We had longstanding rockin friends staying over for it, we arrived at the Town Hall after liquid lunch at the Ace cafe, looking forward to a great day. Loved seeing Father Graham being presented with his bike, can see meself chatting to Bev n Terry after applauding the presentation. And then the sad news filtered thro.... rest in peace those who were there, or should have been there, but are now absent friends x

Fr Graham Hullett. Died in Lincoln Hospital on 5, Dec, 2012, Through complications after Major Stomach surgery. He was 80yrs of age. His Club Leadership status is shown in several of the 59 Clubs Link magazines. He was also instrumental in creating the Clubs constitutional rules along with Fr Bill Shergold. The Spirit Of 59 (Rockers) Club was formed out of the respect the so called 'Undesirable' element had for his Leadership in which he refused to give up on. You can find out more by FB -Spirit of 59 Rockers Club or www.thespiritof59club.co.uk. There is a memorial Bench in his name placed in Lincoln Cathedral in the Mary Chapel & his Ashes are in the Cloisters. On Sunday, 3rd, Dec, 2018 we will be meeting at 12midday To pay our respects.
