Man I watched this vid a couple of days ago but I can't comment anymore at the office. Wanted to just say that I'm so proud of you, dude. I cannot wait until I see this. Looks like everyone had such a good time and got my interest WAY up.

Agree on the quality of the actors here really selling the horror of facing a force user. They were practically a myth at this point, remote sorcerous generals from the Clone War that were exterminated and Vader the rumored dark champion of the Emperor. Suddenly he’s there. Laser weapons that have been so dangerous and effective throughout the movie are abruptly useless. And the terror now amongst them goes to work. Despite his concealing mask, Vader communicates so much in this brief scene through the focus of his stare, his hand and fist. The power, rage and the focus of his intent. The tone of his menace and fear inducing brutality were set even earlier when the rebel fleet was trying to escape and Devastator leaps in abruptly with guns blazing, laying waste to the rebel capital ship and effortlessly destroying others as they try to flee. Vader was a camp fire story monster come to life.
The campfire line is so accurate. When they follow it through any of the shows/films, it works so well. When they just focus on light sabers and fan service, it just doesn't work. Andor captured this perfectly in so many scenes. I wish there was more like it. Thanks for the great read. I agree so much.

And we both feel It's truly wonderful you're still getting to passionately create projects against the odds. Did Jes just shoot a legendary Target commercial? Always great to see you brother. Hey! I loaned my copy of Shades of Grey to a friend.... a decade ago? Thought it was gone forever. A couple months back he's like "Hey look what I found!" Think I'll watch it this weekend with a big bag of Doritos and some coffee. Man, where did all this grey hair come from? Guys at work say I look like the worlds oldest 12 year old when I shave. Yeah, I'm taking that as a compliment. It could be worse. Keep on keepin' on Jes! You're awesome bud! Dude- that was great! We could feel the tension, and excitement. The kids were talking excitedly over the whole thing. "That's so cool" Poppy says! The gatorade bottle on the track was a great reminder that THESE ARE TOYZZZZZZ! So fun, and I'm jealous- where do I get one!>!>!

A couple years late, but one other detail further increases the fear/evil rating is that scene where Vader makes the fist with the guy at the ceiling... He non-chalant-ly cuts him in half not even looking back.
It’s crazy seeing the timeline of your work. Especially how much you’ve accomplished before technology started to catch up, between vlogs, digital distribution, animation, and especially editing styles. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future Jeskid!
