It's honestly mostly coordination. The more coordinated you get, the less your feet leave the ground, except when you do double unders. And When you build the speed, that's when your workout intensity really kicks up. I'm still not jumping the way I used to as I'm too heavy, but you never lose the rhythm!

Quando jovem eu lutei boxe e cheguei até a competir, eu pulava corda muito bem, porém eu engordei muito, muito mesmo (150kgs) e apesar de ainda pular bem, eu notei que meus tornozelos doíam muito, uma dor interna, provavelmente proveniente do impacto ao pular (por conta do peso), gostaria de saber se isso ocorre com você também e se não ocorre, gostaria de saber se você fez algo de diferente para que isso não ocorresse. Tenho menos de 30 anos, então não acho que seja a idade.
Mate, I'm sorry I missed this comment! Likewise, I will reply in English lol. I tend to get a bit of foot pain (not in the joints) if I do long rounds, so I do one minute rounds at a maximum. And I elevate the absolute bare minimum possible, except when doing double unders.
Practice, practice practice. It's about finding the right rope, and then you'll gradually only lift your toes mere millimertres off the floor, just enough for the rope to pass under, and you'll make fewer mistakes! Keep at it!
I don’t recall seeing one within the departures area, but the shower stalls were huge. I left my shoes outside the stall and hung my rucksack on the hooks inside!
