It's so sad that he is underappreciated as a vocalist, be it soloist or one of Suju's main vocals. He has one of the nicest tones in kpop industry. Yesung is my favourite vocalist besides Kyu and Wookie.
I was never been a fan of SJ nor even noticed Yesung until I had a chance to re-viewed the Kdrama That Winter.... quite recently and took notice of its OST GRAY PAPER. researched the singer of this song and ended up knowing Yesung! Now I think I'm his new fan.... after being there with Kdramas and Kpop since 2009 period when BOF was a hot kdrama in my country! And I must say I think Yesung is one of the best Korean singers I've ever known. Still my fav among his repertoire is GRAY PAPER. Have not been tired listening to the song!
Yesung voice is like a wine, the more he age the more his voice become the finest! Amazing! Not just his high notes but the way he gives emotion to the listeners. No matter what other says you cannot deny he has an amazing voice! King of adlibs, and ost. He is the best and considered to be one of the best singers in kpop.
I liked Yesung's voice since the beginning I knew Super Junior (even though he wasn't my bias at the time), when I listened to Yesung's voice I never focused on the highnotes, for me it's normal for singers to do highnotes. I like Yesung's voice because of how he interprets the song very precisely, his voice seems to tell a story even if you don't know the meaning of the song you can guess what kind of song this is because of his voice. his voice is unique even when doing highnotes it's not the highnote ype that bothers the ears, his highnotes are meaningful, his voice is sweet and healing
The video where he was crying backstage was because he was ill that time, he is doing and forcing his self to perform well and when he gets to backstage he cried for the pain. The main reason he goes to a strict diet was his health. And the reason the last words he said being enlisting was "PLEASE DONT FORGET ME" has a very very sad story 😭😢 it was because of what he experience during his training days, he was forgotten not just once.. My gosh i feel like crying whenever i remember what happened to him.
The most amazing thing about his voice is not just his high notes, not just his adlibs, not just his song but the emotion and warm he puts on his voice. He has the sexiest notbjust eyes and smile but most importantly his voice may he be singing or just talking❤

I remember in SJ Returns when they were recording One More Chance then Donghae & Leeteuk was trying to tease Yesung and wanted him to sing his line in a higher note, he initially refused but does it anyway and Donghae & Leeteuk were surprised that Yesung was able to do it and was even better than the original note 😄
What the hell, this made me teary eyed. Yesung please know that you are deeply loved by your fans. Do not ever doubt your talents or your image. You are one of the sweetest, most genuine and lovable idols out there. Keep fighting and keep winning dear. 😘
Yesung's voice is so addictive ! His vocals are so dynamic and emotive it's insane ! He captivates ,hypnotizes and moves me so much . He escapes all set out standard , there's no use to compare him to others . Guy's the art personified.
