WELCOME to my Channel, directed towards new and intermediate IPSC-USPSA Pistol and PCC shooters!
I'm already working with firearms since 1996. Early 2017 I started my IPSC journey in Action Air and in 2018 I grew into IPSC. I shoot in the Open Major and PCC Divisions.
I learned a lot from books and other great shooters on YT. But in IPSC learning never stops and I have become a passionate "IPSC Guru"! I want to share my knowledge and experiences with constructive own and third party content, to:
- Be a "1-stop resource" for IPSC training, techniques, tips and other interesting shooters, organized in easy and clear PLAYLISTS - Publish training and match analysis videos, which I primarily use to self-analyse to improve my performance, and which may also be an inspiration to other shooters. I try to upload new videos multiple times per month
Contact me for YOUR match/training video analysis and/or to organize a tailor made virtual/ or in-class IPSC basic or advanced TRAINING Course.
I had a bad fall during a match not long ago, coming out of a cooper tunnel with wet grass in it. Fell straight out of it but first thing I did was mind my muzzle direction. Was able to finish the stage without a DQ but got some permanently bloodied pants, lol.
Ouch Stef, dat zag er een stevige klap uit😮, hopelijk valt de schade mee. Heb het op onze lvl1 vorige maand ook gehad, geen huls, wel een gladde vloer, paar dagen gemankt
I think there should be a slip-technique included in ipsc training. I have seen many slipping videos and I hope I will never see one where the trigger is pulled while slipping 😢
@@ipsc-guru Thank you for the answer, I am currently considering putting together a rifle/PCC belt using the alpha rail system and a lynx belt, as I really like it for pistol disciplines, but there is barely any info out on the alpha rail system sadly.
Omg thank you for this review!! I wanted to try this belt but I heard CR Speed holster doesn't fit so I started to ignore it. I'll probably grab one now.
Just found this. Can you explain more what you are trying to achieve and how? Drill 1 : "attack targets" and Drill 2 "shoot into position" I have no idea what the difference is just looking at the video. And I assume Drill 6: "SHO" is just shooting with one hand. I admit that I just found this and will go back to your other videos. At fist look I don't know the details of this. I want to improve and I am fortunate to have an opportunity to have access to space to set up my own courses and try things. I have a set of drills I made for myself for when I am at my indoor range and I can't move and shoot. Now that I have the space I want to figure out drills that I can do to help me improve.
Hi there, no problem. "Attack targets" are open and relatively easy targets up to max. 15 meters, on which you can get a fast "Acceptable Sight Picture". Explained more in detail in the video "How to improve your flow 1". In drill 1 the targets are placed at 15m. The objective is to acquire a fast ASP, transitions and splits to get 2 alpha's in each target. In drill 2 the objective is to get into position as fast as possible with you gun up on target just before the barricade, so you can start to engage as soon as it is actually visible. The drill with the SHO is intended to shoot the targets on the box whilst moving relativeliy fast and from the low angled position. Drills in general are intended to improve technique and self confidence/trust. Enjoy!
Hi @Friheart: Check out my HF playlist on my YT-Channel for my own and great thrird party videos ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-owQfj41Ns4w.html
there is a nice video on YT with Eric Grauffel explaining the strategies based on hit factor and discusses this with JJ Racaza, who was sort of lost when Eric asked him what he would do in certain situations
