My question would be where would the move to honestly. Chicago definitely can support two teams and Minnesota can support a team as well if the team is ran well.
You’re welcome. But it gets even better. Thurman Munson was responsible for the nickname! He was being interviewed and to one of the questions he said Reggie would be a better person to answer that question. Munson said, "Go ask Mister October."
They've crossed a line. The uniform should have stayed ad free. This is ridiculous. Smearing the sacred uniform with companies no one cares about. Shame on you MLB!!!!!
A two time mvp didn't an offer ,sounds like angles respect him. To go to contender ,the 6 yrs and did go nowhere ,he deserves the treatment to go to winning organization
In 1900 the Sox were in the American League and the league was considered minor leagues. In 1901 the American League became professional. The Sox finished 1st but the World Series didn't begin until 1903. So they can add 1901 to their Championship collection.
You said something wrong about Ohtani. Ohtani was a every day DH since 2021 and he stood for all AB as DH even at his pitching days and after he was off the mound. He often hit some HRs or made some hits or stole some bases or scored some runs before his 1st inning pitching. He actually hit more HR and made more hits after his pitching days though sometimes his arm got swollen after pitching. Of course, he didn't take off days off the day before or the day after his start pitching day either. In fact, Ohtani only got 2 or 3 games off altogether in 2021 & 2022 when he was fully healthy as 2 way player. In 2023 late Aug, Ohtani got serious arm injury & soon later oblige injury too, then hus season was over but he was still qualified as a hitter and allowed him to become an unprecedented MVP and MLB HR King. In this season, even Ohtani was only 3 games off in '24 even he actually got a month injury at his leg from pick-off throw on May16 and made his hitting stat dropped half. He was unable to steal, couldn't hit well, and could only cruise to bases after hitting. Yet he was still in lineup throughout those hard time when team had too injuries and lineups in slump.
Ohtani is the best baseball player. Judge is the best offensive player. Imagine next year he plays with a top 5 bat and top 5 glove, talk about value. And it's not even a dream because he's done it already to become the only player with 2 unanimous MVPS.
You guys get it! Howard Terminal was a real estate deal. - not just a stadium Fisher cared about Real Estate. The new stadium in Oakland was only a small feature - the bigger picture of Howard Terminal were the commercial and residential towers , but the crash of commercial real estate during Covid no longer made the overall development profitable. The A’s and the stadium were a mean$ to am end . He wanted to build and profit from developing a new waterfront neighborhood. No one is talking about this.
