You clearly don't understand Evolution! 2) If you want to argue in favor of Creationism or similar version, please present your evidences. The existence of "complexity" doesn't prove the existence of a "creator" or "higher intelligence / intelligent design" etc... this is a fallacy. Complexity is a natural process in our Universe (Entropy)! By the way, the existence of complexity, first implies the existence of simplicity. Therefore, you will never understand "complexity" by starting from "complexity". The origin of life starts with the simplest components of life: Organic Chemistry => Carbon atom bonds. And in the early Earth / Outer-space (meteorites, comets, asteroids etc) were possible to find every single basic component of life. And the first cell wasn't the modern cell you described in your video. A virus is an example of a type of protocell, perhaps one of the ancestors of the first living protocell in Earth. So, the first cell was very primitive, very basic, much more simpler than the modern cell. And as I said, all the building elements always were there, so probabilities were totally positive in favor of the first simple protocell in Earth. Please remember, what today you call "life" may not seem the same "life" 4 billion years ago (in fact, first form of life on Earth was not even consuming oxygen!). The same applies to "complexity", for an ameba a simple ball can be unknowable. So unfortunately "complexity" sometimes may be related to ignorance, people use to call "complex" the stuff they don't know, or don't understand etc. If a layman doesn't understand how Entropy works, how carbon atom bonds work, how amino-acids can spontaneously be created in nature (creating proteins), how RNA is formed and mutated etc... well, sadly in this case ignorance always will see everything as "complex", and gods always are going to be mentally created in order to fill ignorance (gods of the gaps). Science demands patience, so as happened in the past, with time Science will prove that Organic Chemistry + Right Conditions = Primitive living protocell. The modern cell you're describing in your video is a consequence of 3.5 billion years of Evolution, is the complexity evolving from simplicity (protocell). That said, also is worth mentioning that: a) Current complex modern life is pretty imperfect and inefficient, so if it was created through a direct act of divine intervention or superior intelligence (gods)... then it was a terrible job, an epic fail! (the Earth already experienced at least six mass extinctions, with billions of extincted species). b) Exoplanets were discovered only recently in the last years. A new generation of space-telescopes are going to be capable to analyze the atmosphere of these new exoplanets. And Science will show that life is very common in Universe.

Any evolutionary change in a critters morphology would require a change in its DNA and the information in it. A fair reading of your remark seems to suggest that increasing order (evolution) is driven by entropy. One of two things is thus true: 1) your writing skills need improvement if that’s not what you meant, or 2) you need to review a middle school physics text.
I truly hope that US national security never depended on this guy's understanding of probability. Consider a large flat field with a small deep pit somewhere. A drunken man stumbles around for 10 minutes; the chance he will fall into the pit is very small because the field is large. Instead suppose that the field has the form of a funnel with steep sides and the pit is at the lowest point. Now the chance that the drunken man will stumble into the pit is very high. The moral of the story is that the probability doesn't only depend on the size of the field and the number of steps. It also depends on whether there is bias in the direction of the goal: the man will on average stumble downhill more than uphill. Gans entirely ignores this principle and asks us to suppose that DNA could only have arisen by pieces coming together entirely at random. No scientist thinks it happened like that. Everyone believes that it must have happened through a sequence of simpler forms that have some advantage over random forms. We don't know the details yet, but there is no reason to suspect we never will. Incidentally, he is dead wrong in claiming that single errors in DNA are usually fatal; if that was true we would all be dead as we all have multiple DNA differences from each other.

I had the benefit to have met with Lori in Los Angeles on 9/11. She recommeded that I start a hashgacha pratis (Devine Providence/intervention) notebook of events that occurred in my day that showed Hashem's love for me. Assuming you are Jewish and believe in God, I will tell you there is such a thing as the oral Torah (law). The point of the joke is that it is written yet called oral law. Oral Torah is halach lemoshe mesinai. Halacha passed down generations from then. Halacha not actually written straight out in the Torah. Gemara and mishna is oral law. For example, we know take an etrog on succos and to sit in a succa. But it doesn't go into details. Oral law tells us how the etrog needs to look to be kosher and details about the succa of how tall and materials and how many walls it needs to be. Same with all the halachos of shabbos. Torah says there are 4 methods of killing One of which is stoning. Do you know the process of stoning? It is very complicated. And oral law explains it. That is what gemara and mishna is and what all those English halacha seforim and shulchan aruch is based from
