It requires a bunch of refunding. My apologies for not including that in the video! I've found this little app helpful: arctice.github.io/gd-starnav/ You just plug in the desired final constellations and it plots a course, including refunds. My starting constellations were as follows. A point in yellow at the crossroads lets you take the Crane, a point in green lets you take the Spider, a point in purple lets you take the Empty Throne, and a point in blue lets you take the Sailor's Guide. From there I was able to build it out fairly easily, gradually refunding all of the above except the Crane. Completing the Kraken and Behemoth will get you all the red points you need. Mine was not the most efficient path points-wise, but I took those constellations because they're good for leveling. Empty Throne, for instance, gives aether, chaos, and stun resistance, which are all very hard to come by in the early game. Sailor's guide gives movement speed, also scarce. Spider gives OA, DA, and attack speed.
@@GrimDawnCrossbowBuilds ive been figuring it out on my own, thank you. I am currently leveling a character last week demonloshing veteran. Ill be rushing to ashes of malmouth on vetern to get that weapon.
Loving the channel concept. Talk about niche within niche, it’s a beautiful thing. As a GD gun-boi, I genuinely appreciate the crossbow-obsession going on here 👊🙂
You're welcome! If you want a ranged build with good DPS at lower levels, the Shaman's Primal Strike or the Demolitionist's Fire Strike would be more obvious choices. I will be featuring these skills in future videos.
@@GrimDawnCrossbowBuilds Im lvl 21, and my friends told me to put all into Physique. so its 331/150/101 is there way to reroll or do I need to put everything into Cunning or Spirit? and when it comes to cults, does it matter which cult I should choose? or are there cults more for poison / cold?
@@MinwooCRNA I would put some points in cunning as well, because you will need cunning to use higher-level ranged weapons and boost your crit chance. Rerolling stats becomes easy later in the game, so don't stress about them too much. It doesn't matter which cult you choose; you can use the vendors from any cult.
A good first guide video! You give good detail for each build component (skills/gear/etc), explain leveling for any new players and your example SR run looks nice. Looking forward to seeing what other crossbow builds you come up with.
