Makes sense that Atari is the sponsor, considering they were owned at the time by Warner Communications, who also owned both DC Comics and Warner Bros. Pictures, who were obviously responsible for the movie. Warner Communications became TimeWarner and are now Warner Bros. Discovery, but Atari shut down and a different company, Infograms, became Atari in the late 2000s.

Van Johnson is an amazing actor. The two films I know he was in are "A Thrill of Romance" and "Brigadoon". Boy he was so talented during the golden age of Hollywood. R.I.P, Van Johnson.
I saw movie when it was on tv but on DVD they didn't show the whole thing on DVD the movie was cut but king Kong was on Blue Ray they had the whole entire version on Blue Ray they didn't show the part when Kong was in the streets in New York and he picks up this car and throw it in the building that part was cut out on the DVD another scene was when he was fighting with this big giant snake and it was a little bit longer battle with the snake rapping around him that scene was cut in the movie on DVD it shows that he opens the snake mouth and cracks him open but it was a quick battle on Blue Ray it was a longer battle between the snake and Kong when he busted the gate on Blue Ray it was longer but on DVD it wasn't so it was some scene that was cut from the movie
The vertical-interval glitching to roll the film reports from Stockton was pretty bad during the Steve Somers sports. But that was how we, ahem, rolled back then. Old-guy TV joke.
Why isn't there a restaurant that has both Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Tacos especially in combos? Jack in the Box has Burgers & Tacos while Jack in the Box has Burgers and Hot Dogs Regardless I love this commercial this one was entertaining and influential
I first saw this movie when I taped it off CBS in 1980. I had no idea how much they CUT the film to ribbons! I recently clocked my CBS tape against the Blu-Ray, and it was missing 5 minutes. Of course, when they ran TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA around the same time, that had 6 minutes missing from it.
