That,s cool smooth moves, Frs Jewel and Joseph! Very impressive cool breakdance. You're both so blessed for being great preachers but also great dancers. What else can you guys do? To God be the glory forever!
I discovered Fr Aytona by listening to his awesome homilies & lectures through the Fathers of Mercy. He speaks so beautifully & well of Our Lord. He is a exemplary Priest, holy & meek. I find it even more fascinating that any of us can become Saints- especially when when seeing a holy Priest such as Fr Aytona, who breakdances & raps! To those naysayers who think a Priest should refrain from such activities, I say: human bodies were made by Our Father to form all genres of dance & music. It all came from our Glorious Creator. How did I this gem of a video pop up into my RU-vid feed?! 🙂
It is an avenue that brings people to God. The youth need that connection. We all have different gifts. Priests ARE allowed to dance or my own priest wouldn't do it
Fr. Aytona, you are really in sync with your brother and the area of concern would be the area of concern and I would inhibit you in considering a woman doing what the priests do and when this occurs, would a female dancer be as well-received? And would a secular eye see you as a priest in this presentation?
as for Lisa's concern ~ there are very authoritative points ~ and perhaps, considering her point of view in the matter as a serious endeavor to your state of being and the reverence we hold in your priesthood should be regarded :)
Priests are always to be excluded form the dance..even outside of the liturgy ....Also the way you move your pelvic part (around 0:55) of your body reminds me of a perverted stripper..it is truly shocking. I will truly pray for you both ... but truly...There is no way I could see Jesus doing this...I think you should ask a holy priest if you should be doing this...(like Father Marx).... please read here: . "If the proposal of the religious dance in the West is really to be made welcome, care will have to be taken that in its regard a place be found outside of the liturgy, in assembly areas which are not strictly liturgical. Moreover, the priests must always be excluded from the dance. " www.ewtn.com/v/experts/showmessage.asp?number=355885&Pg=&Pgnu=&recnu=
Hi Lisa, we believe the very words that come forth from your prayers are conveying a message to everyone of the dignity of the meaning of dance and I thank you for speaking very strongly in charity. God :) love you :)
