A channel focused on my passion for cycling. I have no sponsors, I do not get paid, nor do I get a brand new $10000 every week and free products like most youtubing cyclists. Enjoy!
Im surprised the big auto guys like Ford, GM etc, dont produce ebikes. Given their manufacturing capabilities they could easily build high quality lifetime warrranty frame and dual motors full suspension ebike one extra battery and 4 amp charger included URL certified for $2000 each at the dealer.
My guess would be that there is more money in cars and trucks than bikes. The big 3 would be entering a market already saturated. I’m sure they’ve talked about it at some point but opted against it.
what happened to the HPC Scout? I was looking for content on those but can't find much. Looking at getting one. I have a Gazelle Ultimate C380 but want an additional ebike with a throttle.
I haven’t checked their website in a while has it been discontinued perhaps? Honestly having the bike for a couple years now I think I could have got a similar setup for cheaper. I’ve had some issues with bike as well. The wire routing leaves a bit to be desired. I would recommend doing a lot of research to get the best bike for the money. Thanks for watching!
Do you still use this rack? If so, how's it held up? Im deciding between this kuat nv 2.0 and the 1 up heavy duty rack. I'll be getting the add on to use with 3 or 4 adult mtn bikes as well. Thanks for the review
Yes! I use it almost daily. I can’t speak for the 1 up but I will tell you you I absolutely love the Kuat rack. Things I like best is how quickly bikes can be mounted and dismounted, and the security of the bike when installed. From what I’ve read about the 1up, it seems like a great bike as well. I hope you enjoy the rack you do decide to buy!
I have taken a break from fixed gear because I had a severe calf injury during a hard skid stop. I was thinking about converting it to single speed for a bit. Thank you! I agree it is such a beautiful bike. Thanks for your continued support!
My Trenta 3k carbon looks good. Unfortunately the padding deteriorated fairly quickly and came apart. I contacted MET and they said that was normal. Haha! I have helmets 20 years old where the padding is still good. I will not buy any MET helmets in the future and can not recommend them. Btw their customer service sucks!
Thrilled to see you back riding and sharing on RU-vid. Your Gulf Shores video was instrumental in my taking a trip there last summer just to ride my bike 3 days.
Thank you so much for the kinds words! Your comment is very inspiring and makes me want to make more content! Thanks so much for watching you’re awesome!! 😎
Great video Juricell! I live in Florida and go up to Celebration a few times a year and always bring my bike. I always watch this video to inspire me before I go. Thanks Bro!
Agreed. Pooped out after a couple years of moderate use. Battery replacement requires engineering. I found a $40 replacement that I like better anyway.
I live a bit further north in Georgia I called a bike store asking for a fixed gear and the dude on the phone told me “it’s a bit to hilly in Georgia for a fixie ain’t it.” I’m picking up my first one this week.
I have had my bontrager light for 2 years before having any problems. Now it won't change modes with the bottom. My solution for now is controlling the light with my garmin computer.
I bought the lower output version because the LBS threw in the mechanical mount. Not a fan of rubber loops. 2.5 stars out of 5. Retired it an bought a beefy ravemen. "Bontrager you can do better"
I bought one few years ago...awesome bike fast and tough ! I need to buy another one ....if you can send me Info on financing and any specials on 7,000 and up e.boke
How did you determine the shaft width? I'm guess that it's going to be a 1x since it's only 107mm. What if you wanted to keep the original number of chain rings in the front? You'd have to know the right width to be able to keep the 2 or 3x chain rings.
Honestly with my setup, the narrowest width gave me the best alignment with the wheel cog. With a 2x or 3x will never have perfect alignment in every gear but you have to find the sweet spot where the chain won’t make contact with other parts of the bike (frame, front derailleur etc.)
This is representative of all HPC ebikes; extremely overpriced for the base components that you get and an outrageous price if you decide to upgrade components.
The rack is so good and would like to care for it so it can serve me for a long time. I got the Kuat rack dock from Amazon, so I can leave the Sherpa 2 in the rack dock mounted on the wall when I don't plan to bike for a while. And I put the 2 bikes on there.
Bontrager lights really are rubbish. I’ve had 3 fail. luckily my LBS is always on my side. The latest one the Commuter Pro suddenly turns off about 2 to 5 mins into each ride.
I could never afford a quality aero frame, so I managed to find a Cervelo Soloist S1 - aluminium the carbon ones still are at premium prices - the quality of the frame is exceptional. I've put Shimano 105 on it and an aero stem and bars secondhand Mavic Cosmics (carbon/aluminium) and I'm good to go. It all came in at $1000. The aluminium one if you get it has a lifetime warranty. I can see why you've never had to really buy another bike, it is quality through and through, and the early carbon frames were definitely over-engineered, I think thats why you can still find them, and why in your case they have weathered so well. For my next bike, I'd love to get the new Cervelo Soloist 2023, a 105 12-speed would do me fine.
be warned... within less than a year, the snap-on adapter has worn down the edges of the original Roam rear mount. i'm now stuck with needing to epoxy glue the adapter back onto the mount. not happy!
I’m not surprised by that. I guess the more you remove and install the adapter the more wear you’d see. At least it is an not too expensive option and replacing won’t break the bank.
I had the same issues with the pressure points, as have many others. ABUS didn't bother addressing this in the Gamechanger 2.0; if anything the pressure points are even worse in the updated version.
@@Juricell It's great that you can tolerate it! Your review is the only one online that mentions the pressure points. Did you insert any additional foam pads or try to flatten that foam area inside the helmet? After how much riding until the pressure points start to bother you?
Just bought the trenta today. My first helmet that has a sunglasses port. But when i put my glasses in the port, the legs are pressing in my skull. Does it sounds familiar for you?
My sunglasses fit with no skull contact. Maybe try inserting sunglasses upside down? There are so many different types of glasses it would impossible to test them all.
IT IS BECOMING A PROBLEM, i bought a deda alanera, and a wahoo and it jest do not fit together. After having paid so much you expect your products to fit... thanks for yuour idea, oscar=amsterdam
I'm from New Hampshire and a lot of the roads up here are full of giants cracks and potholes because of our brutal winters. I thought all the roads in the south were perfectly smooth but it looks like the road in this video is kinda beat up.
Asphalt will always get at least hairline cracks in time. These are tiny but perhaps highlighted from a recent rainfall and not fully dry. Maybe gives the appearance of being worse. This path is smooth.
When you slide the large zip tie across the platform to fit different length bikes does it scratch the surface of the rack over time! My Thule looks awful after a few years of this
I’ve had mine over a year and there are minimal marks from the sliding. You are going to get wear from road debris and removal and installation of bikes in time but even with the minor blemishes, mine looks great! When the strap is loose the slide moves very easily and contact on the painted surface is very light. Hope this helps!
I can’t see how any bike rack wouldn’t cover that up to some extent. I’m not familiar with European laws but I know they’re usually more restrictive than the US.
