Lubing most puzzles drastically improves the performance. Here's a tutorial from my friend Josh on how to lube a clock: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uwWGOubZrPg.html&ab_channel=Jhahoua
Oh my god... wow... this I why I shouldn't record myself when I am tired. Well I figured out where I went wrong. The case only has washers for the pins (I think).
Definitely quite interesting and insightful. Although I'm not a clock person myself, I can appreciate the complexity of clock hardware and what goes into these hybrids/mods/magnetization projects. This video deserves more traction.
This is honestly one of the best clock review videos I have watched. I’m just slightly disappointed that there wasn’t any duct tape anywhere in this video.
It's even more stupid because there can be non removable plastic "stickers" on black cubes with no advantage and there is no such cube on the market that's marketed for competition. Even now that's "legal"... Way to take things too literally. The makers misunderstood the ban but it was actually fortunate because arbiters in competition also misunderstand the ban (would now allow such stickerless black cubes). Idiocracy all the way down.
Why not just learn your freaking opposites? WHY? While inspecting your cube, why not just make sure say the red is on my left or something? Then use the opposites and you get the same "advantage".
Why thank you! I am guessing you are a sax player :P We have a few amazing players in our percussion that make it pretty strong. I am looking foward to highschool band next year! As well as marching band!
Thanks! I play flute (2nd chair) We have an overpowering number of trumpets. (like 15) It makes us a pretty uneven band. 7 clarinets (who never play) 5 flutes, 3 tenors, 3 altos, 1 barry, 1 tuba, 2 euphoniem/baritone, 3 trombones, 2 bass clarinets. Then persussion and stuff. So we're pretty uneven. This is a 3rd year band, We started out with 45 clarinets, 15 flutes, 15 trombones, 30+ trumpets. So we lost a LOT of people...
Thanks for the input. I am just basing what I say from what I have seen on speedsolving and youtube videos. I still have to say that the pillownedness (sure let's make that a word) of the v7 is a mechanism to a certain extent. And your videos have been really helping me with my BLD solving, I just started. PS congratz on NAR!
Very interesting as said in the WCA regulation, and I quote "Stickers/tiles/textures/paint must not be thicker than 1.5 mm, or the generally available thickness for non cube puzzles." That is very strange. I was also wondering about other pillowed cubes and if they would be allowed or not.
Also that if you think about this other companies like WitEden and Fancung are making Stickerless cube. Also they have allowed tiled cubes which I can see the came advantage as the stickerless cube without doing a layer turn. also at the last comp that I was at they didn't allow one person to use a mini Dianshing cube with paint on it. also I tried to use a cube with no stickers on one side and the rest with stickers but they won't alow it. WTF!!!
Think about this The stickerless cubes will have the same feeling to it like after 3 years of using it so there won't be any cheating on now you feel the stickers for BLD solving. also for the 7x7 without the V-cube 7x7 being made then the SS 7x7 would never exist also if pillowed 7x7 are allowed then they should allow the 2x2-7x7 pillowed cubes be allowed. the pillowed 2x2- V-cubes, Pillowed 3x3, v-cube,mefferts,QJ, Pillowed 4x4- QJ, pillowed 5x5- QJ, Pillowed 6x6, Dayanshing,Pillowed 7x7 vcube
I have several videos I want to make, but I currently do not have a working video editor, and most the videos I want to make can not be done in one take. I have put up videos that I have been able to do in one take. (which is why they are not that good) I will probably have a mixture of bloggy/me talking/ discussing videos mixed with tutorials and reviews on this channel.
Where are the tutorials? I actually like what ur doing right now better, but maybe you should put an annotation saying that you changed (Im on an ipad, so I have no idea if you already did that though.)
I don't know. I currently use CFOP as my main because it is the only thing that I have learned. I plan on finishing PLL. Then I want to learn Roux. I don't know if Roux will become my main method or not. Later I might try ZZ or petrus and switch to that as my main. I have a feeling that since I like CFOP I will stick to it.
