I don’t know why this video doesn’t have more likes, this is the best one I’ve heard after watching many different ones, the others were still good but I feel like this cover stays true to the original song! Nice job!
Fantastic cover!!! I have been madly in love with this song for almost 10 years. I wish I had the audio of the gorgeous instrumental outto on an infinite loop 😅 You really did the song justice. I would love to have a recording of your versio.
Great job! It’s so nice to hear a good piano version. So many try to turn it into a cowboy saloon song, but your version keeps the beauty and peacefulness. Also nice job on the solo! People always skip playing it. Keep up the great work!
Omg You've put free sheet music and made a video tutorial How kind. Thank you. This cover was so beautiful when I listened to it months ago I told myself I'd learn it whenever I got good enough to be able to (from just watching your video) Thank you for putting in the effort to make it possible to learn for others.
This is beautiful, as I watch the snow falling from my window, your music soothes and calms my sadness. Weird fishes is one of my favorite songs and you made it even better. Bravo.
any sheet music is posted here in pdf for free www.masoonplays.com/sheets.html i dont read, so it takes a lot more effort to make the sheets than it does a cover, and they're never an exact match to the original video. but i plan on transcribing some more covers soon!
I had to google that one so I don’t know. But I do know that in the original song, the drums are 4/4 while the guitars are 3/4. This arrangement simplifies it though and is in 6/8 👍
Thank you for the answer. I have one last question: the pattern of the notes shown in this video corresponds exactly to the one you play in the original video? Because it looks very weird and odd and sometimes it looks like it’s not even meant to be played by a person. Anyway, that’s not a critic. The arrangement sounds beautifully
@@m.zaffonte This one's just a little different than the original cover. It's a cover of the original cover, but played on a digital piano and quantized so the notes could be tracked and converted to sheets in Logic. Hard to get the same arrangement twice going by ear It was played by hand though (a little less perfectly before the quantizing) so it's definitely possible. The sustain notes make it look harder than it is. More fun to get the main idea and make adjustments where you feel comfortable, though, if you ask me!
