Amen brother. We exist to glorify God and lift up His community. We can't be silent Sunday seat warmers. We can't be consumed with the everyday, when the world around us is plunging towards judgment. To hide the gospel is to withhold love from our neighbours, including ourselves. To not actively display the gospel, distinctly, set apart from the world around us, in our daily words and actions is to rob God of His praise and to put our names before His Name.
Does Ronnie Evans still run this church? Absolutely lovely fella Ronnie and his wife and sons. I met them in Blackley in around 1996-97 playing football on the park with them. I was only 15-16 years of age. I lived a few doors down from them at my Nana and grandads house. They befriended me straight away and I used to attend on Sunday's at mills hill and used to play football over the road at pioneers of a Sunday evening. Even took me to Blackpool with them and many others to see the lights and went on the pleasure beach. Then we came back and had a sleepover at pioneers. Cracking times. Although not religious myself they accepted me. Played a game of football once 11 a side against another church. We beat them and Ronnie gave me the man of the match award and said I was mills hills very own Bryan Robson 😊
Hi Wain, lovely to hear from you. Ronnie retired in March and Andy Smith took over as the Senior Pastor. Ronnie is still very much involved, though Covid has limited our ability to meet in person. Steve Evans still runs a football outreach program too, and they continue to play every season. Andrew and Steve Evans still preach regularly (you can see some of Andrew's sermons on here).

Last time they seem me I must of been 16 years old I had less weight and more hair haha. Please pass on my regards to them.
