Chances are that this is the same as any other milk frother, perhaps larger, its whats in the sachets that makes it velvety , it looks a nice machine though and that is all part of the experience of having a nice hot chocolate.

This is the best thing kitchens can have! My daughter has one and I’m going to miss it when she moves out. Such smooth chocolat flavour which is a joy to drink.
HC now bought by Mars so the accountants will now decide on ingredients and cut the costs by diluting the quality and, as with all mars products, apply a large dollop of shrinkation. You’ll pay even more for less.
What goes into it? Can I just use any hot chocolate or do I have to use something through hotel chocolat? If you think I'm going to heat up milk on a stove, melt chocolat into it and then pour it into this thing then you're mistaken. It's a Tuesday night and I am tired from work. What I don't need is to wash a pot, an electric whatever, chopping board, knife, spatula and mug.
I visited a hotel chocolat store recently. Like everywhere prices are up again. Most multibuy offers are gone. You're on the cusp of pricing yourself out of the mass market in my opinion .
Disappointed that I visited hotel chocolate in St Lucia on my travels and was told I couldn't buy a velvitiser on site, not sure why but staff were adamant that I had to go back to my home country and try and get one there.....What was that all about?? NOW - wouldn't have one if you paid me!!
Hotel Chocolate are clearly a GREAT company who take pride in their offerings and price it very well. ANYTHING Hotel Chocolate and I've got to say as a FAMILY we love them. For me, I cannot walk past one of their stores without buying one of their delicious ice creams. The best ice cream ever?!! YES!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I currently use my daughters one but I need one for when she moves out. Perfect advert to describe the excitement of pouring the sachet in, then pouring it out to drink.
Love my Valvetiser. Always makes the best Hot Choc. Highly recommend everyone to get one of these. Never had a lumpy hot choc since using it ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Velvety chocolate every time ❤️❤️
This woman is bang out of order… I reserved to stay the night at the hotel chocolat in Huntingdon…when I arrived they said I couldn’t stay, no explanation nothing….😡
Looks like you end up using a lot of water, to preheat the cup (why not design the machine to make the drink warmer?), and cold water to reset the thermostat between drinks. Bit weird?
سنت نبوی ﷺ کے مطابق : سونے سے پہلے 3 مرتبہ بستر جھاڑنے ، دائیں کروٹ سونے ، اور سونے سے پہلے وضو کا حکم کیوں دیا گیا ؟ سائنسدانوں نے تحقیق کی تو نتائج نے سب کو دنگ کر دیا، ایسی بات کہہ دی کہ آپ بھی بے اختیار ❤ سبحان الله کہہ اٹھیں گے ہمارے پیارے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے آج سے 14 سو سال قبل جو سنت اختیار کی تھی اور ان پر عمل پیرا ہونے کا حکم دیا تھا آج سائنس بھی ان احکامات کو مسلم تسلیم کر رہی ہے۔ 💠 نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے احکامات اور سنت سے یہ ثابت ہے کہ سونے سے قبل اپنے بستر کو تین بار جھاڑ لینا چاہئے۔ بظاہر تو ایسا نظر آتا ہے کہ اس حکم کا مقصد بستر پر کیڑے مکوڑوں یا کسی اور نقصان دہ چیز سے صاف کرنا ہے ۔ لیکن سائنسی تحقیق میں ایسا ہوش ربا انکشاف ہوا ہے کہ آپ بھی دنگ رہ جائیں گے ۔ 🔬 سائنس کے مطابق انسانی جسم میں میٹابولزم کا عمل 24 گھنٹے جاری رہتا ہے جس کے باعث ہر پل سینکڑوں نئے سیل بنتے اور پرانے ٹوٹتے ہیں۔ 🔬 حیران کن بات یہ ہے کہ سونے کے دوران جسم میں ٹوٹنے والے سیل بستر ہی پر گر جاتے ہیں جو انتہائی چھوٹے ہونے کے سبب نظر نہیں آتے۔ 🔬 اگر بستر کو بغیر جھاڑے اس پرسونے کیلئے لیٹ جائیں تو یہ مردہ سیل جسم میں داخل ہو کر کئی مہلک بیماریوں کا سبب بنتے ہیں اور سائنس نے بھی یہ ہی ثابت کیا ہے کہ ان مردہ سیلوں کو صاف کرنے کیلئے بستر کو کم از کم تین بار جھاڑنا لازمی ہوتا ہے اور ایسا کرنے سے خطرہ ٹل جاتا ہے۔ 💠 نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سوتے ہوئے دائیں کروٹ پر لیٹنے کا حکم بھی دیا ہے۔ 🔬 اور اس ضمن میں سائنس کا کہنا ہے کہ ایسا کرنے سے دل پر دباﺅ بہت کم ہوتا ہے جس کے باعث دل صحیح بہتر طریقے سے کام کرتا ہے اور سونے کے دوران بھی پورے جسم کو خون کی سپلائی بہترین انداز میں ہوتی ہے جبکہ دل کے دورے کے خطرات بھی کم ہو جاتے ہیں۔ 🔬 اس کے علاوہ دائیں کروٹ پر سونے سے معدہ بھی اوپر کی جانب ہوتا ہے اور اسے رات میں کھائی جانے والی غذا کو ہضم کرنے میں آسانی ہوتی ہے۔ رات سونے کے دوران معدے میں موجود غذا اچھی طرح ہضم ہوتی ہے جس کے باعث انسان بیدار ہونے پر خود کو تروتازہ محسوس کرتا ہے اور تیزابیت بھی نہیں ہوتی۔ 💠 ہمارے پیارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے احکامات کے مطابق سونے سے قبل باوضو ہو کر سونے کا حکم دیا گیا ہے ۔ ۔عشاء کی نماز سے قبل دانتوں کو مسواک کرنے یا برش کرنے اور پھر باوضو حالت ہی میں سونے کا حکم موجود ہے۔ 🔬 اس کی سائنسی توجیح آج کے سائنسدان یہ پیش کرتے ہیں کہ رات میں دانت صاف کرنے کے سبب انسان دانتوں کی بیماریوں کے ساتھ ساتھ دل کی مہلک بیماریوں سے اور معدے کی بیماریوں سے محفوظ رہتا ہے۔ 🔬 منہ میں موجود کھانے کے ذرات کو اگر سونے سے پہلے صاف نہ کیا جاۓ تو وہ جراثیموں کا سبب بنتے ہیں ۔رات میں وضو کے بعد کچھ نہ کھانے پینے کا بھی حکم ہے۔ ۔اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ سونے سے قبل جب انسان وضو کرتا ہے تو اپنا مثانہ پیشاب سے خالی کر لیتا ہے جس کے سبب انسان گردوں کی بھی کئی بیماریوں سے محفوظ رہتا. اللّه پاک سنت کے مطابق ہمیں سونے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے آمین ۔

Sorry but how on earth do you produce cold drinks. This only heats and froths the milk. You cannot turn off the heating element. Are you suggesting putting the heated milk in a fridge. Seems tedious when you can easily blend or whisk chilled milk
Actually there's cold recipes on the hotel Chocolat website. It says to use minimal milk, just enough to cover the whisk then let it do its thing. Add the small amount of warmed hot chocolate to a tall glass of cold milk, with ice. They call it their version of a milkshake. There's also recipes for the cold lattes too.
