The Mawsmai caves of Meghalaya are one of the 10 deepest and longest caves of India. They are quite popular among tourists and are located in the east Khasi hills of Cherrapunji or Sohra. The entrance of the cave is quite large but gets really narrow as you go deeper, where it is needed to crawl or bend down in certain places. The trek inside the cave is quite adventurous as you will get to see the natural limestone stalactites and stalagmites. But it is not at all advisable for aged, pregnant or individuals with claustrophobia as there are some really tight squeezes on the way.
The single decker living root bridge of Meghalaya is almost 300 years old. The Khasi people originally wanted to cross the river without disturbing nature. So they came up with the idea of making a bridge out of the living toots of the rubber tree. This bridge is alive and keeps growing till date. This is a classic example how humans can coexist with nature without destroying or harming it.

Nice video! I understand the language little bit but not all. What was the name of the store where you got corn candies from? I will be visiting Darjeeling in November and would love to try local snacks.. I will try corn candy and I have heard of some biscuits named "So Sweet" and Wai Wai noodles as well. Where do locals buy their tea from or which is the best place for buying tea? I find Nathmull's and Golden Tips have very expensive tea.
@acecala3576 hey hi...this candy shop is beside jai complex, opposite standard plating (departmental store)..biscuits you can get from Raju Bakery in the Chauk Bazaar area. Locals get their tea from the Chauk Bazaar area in the small road opposite Narayan das sweet shop.. ask any local and they will guide you.
