how did you get a viet bank account mate ? they changed the rules when i was there last xmas and couldnt open an aacount up on a tourist visa , like we used to mnay years ago
Hi mate, a local lady I know had a friend who was a manager at a Vietcom branch. So I guess it can be done if someone high enough gives it the green light.
Just do you guys know. Due to his popularity these places get really busy. When you visit his places the pretty ladirs hire young people to do the work for them. Also the price changes as well. In Vietnam things change so quickly if you visit just once a yesr or even 6 months between trips cafe or barber not only close but are replaced with something entirely different so theres also a chance its not here anymore
Hoi An sadly has become too touristy for me, tailor shops on every corner….vendors everywhere….the food is not great….all the tailor shops are expensive….i bought pants for $110…it’s all about making money and lost it’s small town feeling
