Funny, to hear all these people trying to explain our or their ancestors how they lived and govern themselves. Why is that every one of them avoid morals as the basis of how they govern themselves?
Rebecca Johnson sounds like you are a white woman that has nothing of indigenous, and you pretend to be like us. While what you are doing is hiring Chinese prostitutes to torture true native men.
A slightly different version from what I learned in northern Wisconsin but that's part of the beauty of our Anishinaabeg creation stories. Laws are rooted in stories and stories are rooted in relationships, among humans, and between humans and our animal kin and between humans and all the life and natural forces of mother earth. Love how John Borrows makes all these connections. Miigwetch!
Very informative with clear and concise explanations of traditional Indigenous law practices such as restorative justice and how it can and is being integrated into the broader framework of the Canadian judicial system while drilling down into more detail covering Gladue Reports etc. Miigwetch Kamala!
In our mindful dialects, Windigo means wind and is not as such demonized: Wittigoaths are much worse than the Norse. Windigo means a gentle wind that could turn into a tempest. Maëlstrom🐳
Wampum ceremony is a must in transmitting teaching from ancestors. this brings us to the ten Indians commandments. As in respect to mother earth and your neighbor 🌎⛵⛺🙌🔥🦉
God bless in whatever is done. God will be amplified. We just have to choose how we'd like that to be seen. Love with us and joy is more than death. It is the amplification for our present, honours our past and creates our future for eternity. God bless you with Jesus. He is the law and the servant of you and God. Choose is holy admirability in you and life makes sense and law is liberty. Love is never lost with him and he never wants you not to know love. Thats what law is. Freedom to God's holy prevalence. God is all love. Know that he wants to be with you. Thank you for your goose story. Find and seek love for that is joy and true life. God bless.
1700-1798 people believed they were Royalty. Majesty. Aboriginals weren't under an awareness of difference that there was anyone not majestic. In majesty with God. Royal because of Self individuality and harmony and dominion with nature.
If you got into water pockets- such as lakes and good places for your geese and other animals to live and laws protecting its safety and rights surrounding the different aboriginal communities, it'll help the communities and peoples appreciation and should fund you money to help your interests to advance communities positively. Love is more important than a trist.
Aboriginal love is so important and meaningful but they don't have alot of documentation literature and noted history and cultural documentations. Having a more clear place and computational documentation of aboriginal lectures throughout 1900's and now would promote dignity and assurance and peace. Like reading a great book in a library, it brings peace and definition.
1500 feet by 6000 that will house 30-45 people. As little as 15-20. For aboriginal notoriety and history to be documented. To honour nature and community and writing. Funded by government of state or province or special interest groups that study geese or water pockets.
Ask for the lecture word for word documents to be in a domicillary for aboriginal notoriety. For community buildings that provide safety in aboriginal communities. Two or three per instillation.
The following video explains everything, how we're being ruled by an ancient organisation based in the Alps; watch RU-vid video "The Swiss Beast - Home of the Devil; Part 1 NWO Nazi Templars" on RU-vid channel "Giureh". The series have 9 parts totalling 50 hours full of mysteries revealed and resolved.
These John Burrows' lectures are great. Will there be more lectures uploaded from other Indigenous-Law professors at UVIC? I love that I can expand my Indigenous-Law knowledge while doing the dishes. 10/10 would watch again 🎉
Miigwetch John for explaining in clear language that the court determined that under 2A of our Constitution, while people do have the right to believe in an entity and manifest that belief in ceremony for example, they do not have the right to protect the object of that belief. And also for the clarity that two of the judges thought otherwise.
You are doing good. Thanks for including Ontario first nations. There are more than 600 First Nations in Canada. Not just Ontario. I as Mohawk went through Harpers crap. Went through IRSS. harrowing. As first nations, wolfe turtle clan Do good, thanks. Beaver survives. Part folklore. Thanks for telling our stories Haudenosaunee rule -:yes
Yeah, because some first nation communities RCMP wont take women and children's statements on sexual abuse. WHY? How do women get a copy of their bi-laws in their communities?
I just saw this news item ... seems that some of the Nations like this one are male-dominated? And that they do NOT answer to Ottawa ... what exactly is a University trying to accomplish ... this seems outside of the Indigenous people? www.cbc.ca/news/indigenous/ojibway-nation-saugeen-leadership-1.5189317
