I never knew it to have a name. It was just the the drum cadence for our Power Play chant. It's also pretty similar to one of the marching cadences that the band uses for football games and parades. I'm sure it came from some song, though.
Hi Enrique, I'm compiling a list of all the iterations of this opening theme since it's a uniquely good list of the Blackhawks' most notable players, coaches, and front office suits. It's called 'The Orchard' and I've tracked down versions as far back as 2007 so far. I remember versions even earlier in my childhood pre-youtube days so it definitely goes back even further, potentially with the opening of the United Center. (Notably, Mike Keenan only appeared in the earliest versions!) This one seems to be unique and I'm so glad there's a record of it! I haven't seen one with a live trumpet player before. It's a little difficult to tell if that's a live arena shot at a skybox or just a recording. If you can recall, was there actually a live performer there? If so, was there a special occasion that night that warranted a live performance?
The next day we were treated by a performance of the band Brothers and Sisters at Bedford Park District, Oct. 10. Beautiful voice and great riffs. Go Argo! 👇 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DM40qdwYMvo.html
Not many people are going to p[lat the living hell out of a guitar like Marty can. He will kick it like no one else. I loved this video. Thanks for this.
I saw these guys play in England three weeks ago. I'd waited a long time to see them. They did not disappoint. They played one of the top five gigs I've ever seen in my life. By pure chance I met them after the show. What a privilege! What a Band! Fabulous, Indeed😊😎🎸🤩😁
Not only is Marty a Great Performer and Entertainer he is also the most important person in Country Music today. for all he does to preserve it's history. It really all started to come together once he realized there were a lotta things more important than chasing the Billboard Charts.
Just when you think nobody could possibly play a guitar better than Kenny, Marty steps up. And then Kenny steps up. Fabulous, superlative, miraculous. And teaching me a lot about music. Thank you.
