Elsha is very interesting in this new meta game. I’ve been playing the deck since release and I think the game plans are gonna move more towards jeskai good stuff piles. Elsha is a powerful advantage piece and win condition, but like Tivit should be playing the control game until a window opens where you can push yourself forward towards a win or outpace opponents with card advantage in the mid-late game. We lost early elsha, but I’m not sure that should have ever been the goal similar to Tivit. Moon is an interesting consideration for the deck after the ban and there is enough flexibility in the mana base to support the inclusion. Still able to run the most relevant stax pieces other than cage or rest in peace effects. I think we are in an “ok” situation given how bad everyone got hit.
Modern "edgy games" are just edgy for the sake of being edgy. There's no substance behind it at all. Like Shadow the Hedgehog is not the best game in the world, but they knew what they wanted to do, and they fucking did it.
Im late to this video but its funny you mention the god of war change. In fact that was a major complaint about god of war 3. Was that Kratos had lost his character and was just angry with no more character development. But ofc now rose tinted glasses everyone misses that. Although he doesn’t do extreme acts in anger in gow2018 he definitely has his moments where he does get pissed and does let loose a bit. It’s just the game is more “grounded” so instead of propelling himself at supersonic speeds at a titan he’s got a god pinned to the ground as he beats his face in.
