@@evanluckey8670 yep it’s pretty insane lol. i tried using backstep in phase 2 but i would always get hit by the light beams behind me and die instantly by the follow up attack. cross attack is no joke in ng+7
@@GOLDICU honestly my favorite boss of all time. never was not having fun when fighting him. his 3 hit combo is kinda tricky to dodge but it’s doable so it doesn’t ruin the fight for me.
nah man even using summons and bleed is still impressive compared to using other op builds, the boss is still very difficult. phase 2 is so rng based that it took me so many tries just to kill him. i was able to learn how to dodge all of his moves without getting hit but sometimes it comes out so randomly it catches you off guard and u get one shotted easily.
@@FillFellFar i was using 2 defense talismans, the holy and physical one, but it was most likely because i’m not on a higher ng+ cycle compared to u. i do plan on replaying the dlc on ng+4 or above just to experience the pain most people are going through.
Level up your Scadutree Fragments to the Max. Talismans: Golden Braid, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talismans, If you're using a Colossal weapon such as Greatswor or Zweihander use the Two-Handed Sword Talisman, and Two-Headed Turtle Talisman, also you might wanna pop some Crab to boost you physical damage negation. And lastly, learn to at least dodge 80-90% of his attacks, otherwise it will be a long night!
@@KarbonHD guts bonk build, the absolute classic, i always run the first playthroughs with that sword, it never gets old. killing radahn with it was an achievement for sure, it took me around 2 hours.
this has been the best fight of the DLC for me so far Rellana a close 2nd this fight was just epic and awesome and that spear you get for killing Messmer 🤤🤤
if i remember correctly i used the dragoncrest talisman, erdtree favor +2, two handed talisman, and the turtle one for stamina. 60 vigor 30 endurance 70 strength 19 arcane

Gonna be busy with elden ring dlc for a while 😩. I plan on returning to ff14 once I resolve some health issues irl and finish upgrading my PC setup. I can hit you up once Im able to get back to playing it and we can run some tea.

you're right mate lots of forums and people have been saying the same, i myself notice it, sometimes you'd even realize uwu is not even a difficult ultimate as you clear the other 4 due to uwu having the same mechanics over and over
@@jasonbourne7120 I've actually never played WoW or any other mmo other than ff14 lol, but I used to play cs and val alot and cranked my monitor's saturation to max which is why it looks the way it does.
@@KarbonHD Nice try but only former WoW players use plugins like this because they can't play without them. TEA was harder in SHB but nice clear though.
@@msnw5625 You say that like it's a bad thing. I wear that badge proud my guy. I'm one of the few hundred or so players capable of clearing ultimates week 1/2 with absolutely no tools. I'm kind of a big deal. I'm a dick, but at least I'm good at the game and not a clown. Get good.

I'm curious, which tools am I using that gives me an advantage because all of the stuff I use is Qol plugins except for ACT which I use to track my dps? I've cleared new content in week 1 without any "tools"; I don't need it to clear content. I've started raiding at the beginning of EW so I didn't have the chance to clear TEA in shb, however, I cleared TOP same patch which I think is a fair comparison.

I wanna start getting into trying to do a ultimate they looks super fun I’ve mainly been practicing with savage raids which are the closest things are noticed that ultimates are practically combinations of the savages combined into one big fight although I never understood the letters and numbers marked on the field though

At the opener, it wouldn't be better to use geirskogul at the begining since there is 30sec until the feathers? And Life Surge with Sonic Thrust instead of Full Thrust for adds. At least that says The Balance. I noticed that we can have 1 eye at the end of garuda's phase if you use high jump on the spiny (to be able to do that, you have to use HJ after disembowel and pot after true thrust). The only problem would be that HJ will not be under Lance Charge. This could vary a little bit depending on kill times but I don't now if thid would be better to continue doing this or follow your pov with your LotD managament
Tyty! I was told by someone in the comments to use geirskogul at the start instead of what I did but I'm not 100% sure if its more optimial. It makes sense why it would be but when I was learning this fight I was following the rotation of the top 1 dragoon for the fight in fflogs which they didn't do. I could be wrong tho. All I can suggest is follow their rotation over mine. I made some minor mistakes throughout the fight so I wouldn't say follow my pov and just use your best judgment. Sorry if I couldn't answer your questions I'm not too knowledgeable about optimizing with dragoon since I main reaper.
I haven't thought of that oh well I doubt I wouldve gotten a 100 because i messed up some of my rotation throughout the fight but if I ever step foot in UWU again I'll remember to do this
I'm using the gearset that is listed in the The Balance discord i.imgur.com/cPHEzRb.png . The most important gear that affects your stats is the SHB relic weapon but if you don't have it I wouldn't say it's worth grinding for since the difference in dps is rather small and not worth the effort. A lot of the gear listed are interchangable so it doesn't really require much grinding but just using current bis is fine too.
Great clear! I'm still not too confident staying near Landslide that kb gave me PTSD. What was that opener you did btw? It lined you up for almost the whole fight !
Haha Landslides sometimes still give me PTSD if im greeding to hard but a general rule of thumb is to watch for the castbar to finish before moving into it and you should be fine. I've recently changed some stuff in my rotation to optimize better for the fight but the core rotation is still the same. By delaying my buffs in my opener in Garuda, it allows me to use my aoe skills under buff. Another example, by delaying a gcd in ultima, it allows me to use life surge off cooldown instead of waiting to use it on full thrust which would be an overall dps loss. Doing these little optimizations can help you deal more damage and get better parses but isnt required to clear the fight, I just enjoy doing it :)
@@KarbonHD ahh I see yeah I'm def getting more used to the Landslides but it's tough when your trying not to die pull 1 in a clear party you know 🙃 and ok so the rotation is essentially the same just popping stuff a bit later I like it! Yeah it was really good stuff because DS and Litany would fall of when they became untargetable but was up the whole time when you did and it lined up perfectly when it they came back. Great job
