I want you to know that I had a terribly stressful day at work, and knowing I still had your video to watch this week brought me joy! 🩷 I 100% relate and agree to all of the thoughts you shared. I also don’t know the best solution. I journal and do my best to slow myself down when I notice I’m going into hyperdrive for no good reason haha. In the end, for me at least, I think it’s going to come down to repetition of practicing reframing thoughts, and hopefully one day it becomes more automatic! 🤖🤞🏻 I also have to remind myself how much I’ve grown in these areas over the past few years!!! 💃🏼 🎉
You have no idea how much this comment means to me!! As always thanks for sharing 💕💕 You’re so right, too often we focus on how far we have to go, rather than how far we’ve come. But it’s important to give our growth the attention it deserves too!! I’m sorry to hear you had a stressful day, I hope things get better as the week goes on!!
I almost always want to just buy pillow covers to switch out because I don't have to store a million pillows with limited space plus a lot of inserts are terrible lol
thanks so much!! its still a work in progress but im loving it so far! were getting ready to start getting art up on the walls this week or next so thatll be coming in a video soon!!
Aww thank you so much!! The necklace was my grandmas, she gave it to me back when i graduated middle school! It’s probably my favorite piece of jewelry that i own! Thanks so much for watching!!
Topic I could talk about forever: mental health/the power of reframing thoughts As always, I love hearing your thought processes! I have similar thoughts about home decor. ☺️ Also, super cute long gold heart necklace!!! I haven’t worn a long necklace in many many years, but you’ve inspired me to consider trying it out again. 🤩
Loveeee the idea of reframing thoughts! Was actually filming a video about that today that will be out next week!! And thanks it was my grandmas necklace. I used to wear it all the time and came across it again during the move/ unpacking process. Thanks for watching!!
Hi. Finding friends outside of work is always hard and especially hard after Covid. Try joining a class at a gym or sign up for an art class/ dance class. I still have friends from Lilstreet (ravenswood) from over a decade ago. Old town school of music (also dance) might be good as well.
Carry that weight well with calluses and those incompetent people if you want to call them people will never get to see the true pain behind the sences. Never speak my mind on your page but this hits home. My issues will never hit the for front and truly related to this short. Love ya take care!
framing tip: you can put funky shaped pieces into standard sized frames and just get custom matting. blick art stores (and i’m sure other art stores) sell matting paper that you can cut however you want !
lame and boring take on chicago. if you’re too scared to live in a gorgeous and safe city like chicago then stay far away from it. let those of us with common sense and the ability to discern propaganda enjoy where we live
I have lived on the east coast, west coast, and grew up in the Midwest. I currently live 3 hours west of Chicago and visit downtown often for work. I totally understand the “midwestern nice” you are referring to, but you didn’t experience it in this moment. Visit the Quad Cities and you’ll see a wholesome midwestern connection. We bake cookies and give them to our neighbors, and if we are grilling we make a plate to give to the elderly down the block. Chicago has become so poor that people will literally do anything for a buck to survive. One bill for all dine-ins even if you are in a group and need to pay separately. ?? Wtf ?? Not to mention the random gun shots, even in the better part of town. Or the fact that it costs $50+ to park your car downtown for 2 hours to run errands. DO BETTER CHICAGO! Please come to the QCA. We will show you some love. ❤
- I am excited when I see it’s a longer video! ☺️ - I’ve been subscribed for a few months (I think 🧐) - I subscribed because I like watching RU-vidrs that have a “normal” life (you have a full time job that isn’t RU-vid). I also love that you are open about sharing your thought processes because I think very similarly!! - My favorite content that you post are home related (decorating, organizing, etc.) and personal development/habits related ☺️ - I have never had a preference for RU-vid posting schedules 🤷🏼♀️. Whenever it works best for you to post! 🩷
Thank you thank you thank you!!! This is sooo so helpful. I’m so glad that youve been liking the content! I appreciate your support, your comments make my day!!
Just subscribed! I found your channel in just this past week with your moving to Chicago video on the recommended for you page of youtube - I love moving/apartment content and Chicago content. Congrats on this new chapter!
I am subscribed and set notifications to “All.” I enjoy “slice of life” content and find your channel to be relaxing and well put together. You have a pleasant voice and personality and your background music for parts of the video is ideal to me. I hope your channel continues to grow, and wish you continued success.
