Nice idea. I like to capture the people I met or hiked with. I've started taking their picture too - my memory fades with old age. RU-vid.com/@JonsDadHikes
My adult ADD is getting worse with age also. It has become more of struggle than I have ever let on to anybody these last few years at work. Thank God for retirement. Anything that helps keeps my thoughts focused and organized is worth its weight.
@@wolfiehikes I recommend retirement to all of my younger friends. There are only three of us that are retired now. There’s another 15 to 20 that I hike with regularly. They all have to work.
My sister and I have AT interests and intentions. I look forward to following your training and preparations, along with the usual gear lists. Thru-hiker love gear lists.
While it is true that there is "good gear" and there is "bad gear", the best gear is whatever gets you out there and brings you back. Also all gear is somewhat contingent and conditional, no piece of gear is perfect for everyone, all the time, everywhere. If you have found good "budget" solutions then good for you! Many do not show the initiative or creativity to apply themselves to that extent and quite a few of those who have made camping hacks / hiking hacks their thing have been very successful in helping others and themselves. Just speaking my thoughts, think about it. In any case, whatever your final decision, HAPPY TRAILS.
My wife said the same thing. I fixed a couple of things and lowered the volume on the background music a lot. Check out the updated video. I am trying to use only phone based tools and I couldn't find a way to just reupload.
