Rick I really like your take on the situation from both a factual and emotional level. There is no way that the leftist Bloc and the NDP are going to let the Liberals embark on the massive defence expenditures which we need in Canada. We must raise a 250,000 member armed forces and new equipment for deployment on the Eastern and Northern Fronts. Canada has a noble history in the war against fascism. Maybe this is an endless war cycle for humanity until we can finally come together and make peace, but now is not the time to bury our heads in the sand.

Look I really at this point in my life, don't care who wins or loses, as it will affect me little. I am 77 retired with a decent6 pension. However, I do have children and grandchildren that will be left after I am gone. I would just like them to be able to live the life I did. I was never a rich man and I in fact struggled at times, but fortunately although my father did not have the opportunity to obtain a decent education, as he was put into a Catholic Home, he emphasized EDUCATION as he was unable to get his. As I sit here reading the comments and happenings POSTED on the internet, I am truthfully saddened to see some of what apparently ate young intelligent individuals so ready to SURRENRDER their RIGHTS and FREEDOMS to the Federal government. All this stupidity concerning DEFUND the Local Police, the ONLY DETERENT that protects us from people just walking into our homes, all while totally IGNORING the Federal Agencies that are LITERALLY being weaponized against, we the people.
