About that sky-thingamajig, not sure if it's possible but for next solo installation you might get few very long bolt just to catch a thread and "ancor" this thing and then it will be easir to push it up and bolt with proper ones.
Awesome car I still have my Stilo it's been 6 years since I bought it. I upgraded to the new Bravo before 2 years but I still drive my Stilo I won't sell it. Very comfortable and reliable car and it has all extras for the model except the sunroof
Hi, i’m an owner of a stilo 1.4. On the 1.2 and 1.4 F.I.R.E. engines even if the timing belt breaks there won’t be any damage, yours is a 1.8 pratola serra am i right? So sorry for the damage, always change the timing belt every five years or 100.000 km

@@spal11spal Thanks! English is not my first language and sometimes it takes like 3 takes when it gets technical so i used a little A.I haha. Glad you liked it.
A bit old video but I'm gonna comment anyway. Usually with elongated rectangular elements like head cover or oil pan you start from center and go spiral so seal or gasket "spreads" outwards so it doesn't "lift". It's like with bread/cake dough and rolling pin, you are working it center out, spreading it evenly. EDIT: Most often you also should add a smallest bit of silicone sealant on the edges were camshaft holder near camshaft gear makes almost a 90 degree turn were it meets cylinder head. Rubber most often isn't capable of sealing sharp edges.
Your videos are great, i bought a 2002 5 door 1.8 16v last month for 400 euros, i bought it as a second work car, but it needs some love and im using your awesome videos to work on it. As time is passing and list of parts increases (front suspension (springs, shocks, mounts, struts etc) brakes, engine services etc) its growing on me and if everything goes as planned (if it works for a year :D) i think i might keep it.
@@Krrabon Sorry for the late reply. I will make a video about that car in the near future. I had some difficult times family wise so i stopped with the hobby.... Will pick it up soon.

@@ItalianRebuild In my country around 1000€, but as a student is kinda hard to buy one with very low amount of money and working hours and have to give money back cuz i crashed 1 car

Hello, I don't know how the regulations to register it in Brasil would work. That aside, it would probably be quite expensive, since the shipping of a car across the Atlantic is quite expensive. It would cost you more than the price of the car itself.

Ik heb ook een fiat stilo uit 2002 1.2 rij er al 4 jaar in geen enkele probleem. Ben er ook erg gek op altijd al mijn droom auto geweest. Goeie filmpje groeten Leroy

Haha! I had that once also but with a big screw so when i started the car alot of noise came out. You can try to remove the black backing plate from the flywheel ( underneath ) and see if it will fall out or use a magnet..... Article number = 7650065 ( google it )
