There's me thinking great a low vision device that can use the power of the iPad and keep the cost down. How wrong I was... This device (without the iPad) is more expensive than buying an all-in-one magnifier with screen! Does someone make a cost effective low vision device for tablets?
This is great technology. I I have RP , I’m constantly running into things objects that are in front of me, or falling over things that are below my field of vision which is very small. I have no peripheral vision or depth perception. Can this device help recognizing objects before I get there? Trees, support poles in stores, displays, trashcan, basically anything on the floor. Or to the left or right of me. Would appreciate any information or recommendations you could give me. Thank you.
Hey, thanks for this video! If the sales reps at OrCam did half the feature explanation that this video did I suppose they might have sold one to me already. The idea of graduate school just got a lot less intimidating thanks to your video!
URGENT: Dear! I'm thrilled with your presentation, but I have a question. Does the system support the Croatian language? Can I help with its development and adaptation for Croatian?

This device does not zoom in on objects. There are other wearable devices on our website that will accomplish that task like the Vision Buddy and Patriot View Point. Some of them can also be controlled by voice as well. The Vision Buddy has a button style control so that zooming is a press instead of a swipe.
There are two products I would like to mention specifically. One is the Vision Buddy and the other is the Patriot View Point. Both can be found on our website www.nelowvision.com
This video has me emotional😢. My brother is blind from both eyes, wasnt born blind. i just moved in with big bro after 15 years of no contact due to distance. I was in Florida, he is in Tennessee. We have finally reunited and i am here helping the best i can. I so much want this for him, he needs this. He's never been the type to ask for help so he still tries to do everything himself. What a great piece of technology!
Hello. I'm a legally blind individual from the United States. I have CVI and my vision is similar to someone who's near sighted (Myopic). Are the glasses you presented in the video able to enhance one's visual acuity by zooming in on an object or text, thereby allowing them to visually see and read information? It would appear that this current version would be excellent for someone who's completely blind, but for someone who still has some vision, addressing the main issue by bringing objects closer to the wearer by using digital magnification would solve the underlining issue. Like putting Zoomtext in a pair of glasses. Please let me know. Thank You.
Eric, Envision glasses do not have video magnification. They do an amazing job with text to speech. They also give audio feedback on the environment around you and also give you the ability to connect with others for visual support. There are other wearables on our website that provide the experience you are liiking for. Both blind and legally blind benefit from Envision due to the AI capability and speech.
@@Nelowvision Do you have a product link that you can send me, and for the specific pair of glasses that allows you to magnify both static and dynamic images in real time?
The Ruby, 10 with speech is an awesome device, I’m about to get one myself and I love the idea of Texas speech so I don’t have to constantly stare at a screen if I don’t want to. Because it’ll just verbally read to me whatever I’m looking at!
My apologies in this delayed response. With the improved camera, it is able to grab those words close to the spine that are slightly curved and still read beautifully. Still, the flatter the page, the more accurate the text to speech will be so laying plexiglass down or holding the page tot is always helpful.
Thank you both for asking/answering this Q! I've been searching here on YT for a demo of a device like this with a typical paperback or hardcover book because of that concerning curvature. I have tons of books and not enough time to read them all in the typical way (stopping all other activities) and I'm fed up about that. It's a bit suspicious that it's been hard to find such a demo even with such extensive reviews out there, but the plexiglass idea is excellent, especially considering most hardcover or paperback books need physical support to stay open when you're toward the beginning or the end of them. Ultimately, I'm just in awe of how much of a game changer this could be for me as an aspiring nonfiction cartoonist who needs to do both tons of research and tons of illustration to really get anywhere... The clock is ticking and I'm not getting any younger over here! Can totally see tech like this being super empowering for so many people like me, though I'm not super excited to see the price tag, haha. That said I WILL be in touch to learn more (seeing Q&A below), if that's okay. Grateful for what the tech does for the target market as well!
You didn't start out going through the buttons in the beginning. I can't get any camera to work. I wish you would have gone through turning it on and what all the buttons do.
My apologies in the delay of this response. Please feel free to contact us at NELV if you are still struggling with the device. In addition to our videos, there are videos on the freedom scientific website as well.
Scott Krug, President of NELV, does not have a visual impairment. However, he has worked in the industry for over 30 years, and is very well-versed in mini low vision eye conditions.
This question must be and should be extremely easy to answer. As this product is based on the Google glasses on, according to Google support for the Google glasses are going to be ending on September 15, 2023. How Envision is going to continue supporting this product?
Envision is truly a software that is loaded onto the Google Glass. With the end of production for the Google Glass in sight, Envision has acquired a stock pile of units. When this stock pile runs out, they will either create their own hardware, or find another device to load the software on to!
Yes they can be worn out in public. Please contact us at info@NELowVision.com or 888-211-6933 to begin the consultation process of arranging a no obligation demonstration.
