Good to see you're already recovering, I broke my femur and had a rod put in about 6 years ago. That was the hardest thing I've had to do. Hope to see you on Lake Purdy soon!
Everything likes a minnow. You are right! You have to find the right depth. I got on them a few weeks ago with a cork and jig, went back to the same place and had one hit. It had rained and the river came up a few feet, which messed up the spot. I'll try minnows next time. Good video. Keep em coming.
Fished lake purdy first time on my life sat cant believe ive never been there ive fished just about every reservoir in a 100 miles of springville and then some lol but ive heard about it all my life..... But I only caught one little crappie 2 bass one was almost 3lbs though .. but very pretty lake and super nice folks that run it I will go back one day try to find more them crappie🎣👍

that lake is full of bait and I throw them back 90% of the time I'll keep and clean 15 most of the time the rest goes back.... but thanks for the tips etc 👍
@@slabbusterrtr7690 Well, if I'm out to stock the cooler or if my partner I'm fishing with wants some, I'll keep around 30. I don't like cleaning more than 10. lol. Lazy I guess. Sometimes I'll give them to people on the banks or people in boats not catching any. I usually catch over 30 a trip. I toss a lot back to. I like the 12"+ fish. Y'all be safe! See you on the water. haha, hey Cam! Thanks for the love. Yea, I know he was upset. I told him to come sit by me but he refused. haha. We split the cooler so he's good. Last trip, he wore me out and I was getting hung on the brush every cast. I appreciate you subbing and it's getting about that time! I'll be making another video Saturday. I live in the PNW, Washington state. Me and my kid are just getting in to crappie fishing. We haven’t caught one yet, just perch and bluegills. I seem to struggle locating them still. Either way, you got a new subscriber. Nice work guys.!

I Fillet the Crappie and cut the Rib Cage out to De-bone them. I buy the “Slap Ya Mama” 1-Gallon Cajun Fish Fry Seasoning @ Academy. Deep fry them until they float up in the grease. Yum yum… 😀

Nice outing. I took my family out to Lake Purdy a couple of times, bream and perch mostly. I want to get them into crappie fishing. I've heard about the Solar Bees, where are they located on the lake? Thx and Tight Lines👍
Have you ever been out there on a boat? The Bees - you go towards the dam and there are 18 of them. You leave the boat launch area and go straight out and then go left behind the island. Can't miss them. Thanks for watching and commenting! GL!
