Ah. The Mike Oldfield guitar. Lovely instrument. Mike used it on Ommadawn, bits of Hergest Ridge, then QE2, Five Miles Out and Crises. Clips on here of him playing it at Montreux. My goodness, it wails. One day, I will get one.
I had this same guitar back in the sixties. Only mine was cherry sunburst. You had to use flat-wound strings on it. I had a six-string Rickey as well. One of them had two plug jacks for some kind of stereo or two-amp arrangement, but I don't remember just now if it was the twelve or the six. I had a Gibson that had a similar arrangement during the same years. ES 345 I think it was. Been sixty years! lol
