My name is Alexis and I'm a skateboarder who makes things. I started a small business called Skate Then Create in which I recycle skateboards into home goods, furniture, and other things.
"I have a question. Is it okay to put a DIY aquarium basking platform on top of another aquarium? Is it too heavy? I'm just worried it might break lol."
This attachment has lasted me over 18 months now (and still has plenty of life left) and has saved me time and money on using sanding discs, which gunk up easily and have to be regularly replaced. I also reduce waste by investing on this!
I like the fact that you use basic hand power tools that the average home handyman might have. Too many of these videos show you how to make "stuff" but then the guy showing you how has thousands of dollars worth of high end equipment that you don't have unless you're a professional.
I never got a sense what it looked like in place. the bed is basically blocking the whole thing. What was the point if you can even see it? doesn't help me since I won't be blocking my radiator cover.
Nice project... BUUUUT! You're either going to lose fingers or you will lose a hand, or you'll trip and fall to the blade or... sooner or later. People, don't do what he's doing. There are better ways to work without being in danger :(
Appreciate the advice/warning. This was early into my woodworking journey and I didn't have a viable way to cut with my table saw (no proper stand and too high on my work table). I did eventually get a better table saw with a stand and I perform safer cuts now. 👍🏼
The build is impressive. I felt the video had the right amount of detail to be of value. Pointing out what you would do different greatly improved the value of the video.
I am going to admit that I just started woodworking because I fell down youtube diy rabbit hole. I came and was impressed with your build. I kept watching because you showed me what half of the tools people use in their videos are really for and how to use them. Great job.
Hey, i know it wont feel natural at first. But start by throwing your shoulder and head before turning into it with your hips. I had this exact same problem with flat 360s. I would throw my hips first and my upper bady wouldnt follow thru. Hope this help you it helped me with ollie and boneless 360s
