Sounds really close to a v8 really close, like a v7.9999! Did you and more HP? I think I’m doing this to my v6 sxt 2012 charger 295 HP 250 to the wheels
If you want a REALLY exotic sound without some crazy (expensive) 180-degree or 8-into-1 headers, look into fitting a Y-pipe to it, instead. If you go dual 2.5" into a single 3.5" it'll have the same total flow rate as dual 2.5" all the way back. You defo don't need dual 3" or dual 3" into a single 4" until you're at least at 700whp. And if you still want dual tips, you can split it back into dual 2.5" after the axle, but it needs to be single 3.5" for a significant distance. The closer to the headers you place the crossover, the more it affects sound. Though, IMO, your best sound on the GT is the H pipe and S type. X-pipe sounds like every other Coyote out there, and ATAK/Extremes are too loud, IMO. If it were me, I'd do headers, high-flow cats, narrow style H-pipe or a performance Y-pipe as described (dual 2.5 into single 3.5), and then I'd use Varex X-force mufflers for the back end so I could have loud and quiet mode.
Appreciate this video. I have the exact same car, engine, and exhaust setup. Hearing the car from the inside is one thing but hearing what others hearing from the outside makes me like it even more. Thanks
Hi, i dont know if you could answer this, but would a borla S-Type for 2015-2017 GT fit a V6 ? i found a great deal for one online but cant find info on the fit
@@quincy4588 it will fit. Even the 3inch fit. As long as its the whole cat-back. If its just a axle-back, you gonna have to bring it to the shop to get an adapter and get it welded
