33:30 "No one needs to see me failing repeatedly." If we wanted to see someone do all the things really really well, we'd just replay the game. The thing that makes watching Outer Wilds so fun is watching someone learn. Failing is a really big part of that. I *miss* being able to fail at Outer Wilds.
I won't lie, it upsets me that I won't be able to play Outer Wilds again as a first-time experience. Despite some challenges, it was a really fun game to learn the puzzles and clues as you explored!
I've watched a lot of Outer Wilds streams, and I don't think I've ever seen a player with more Riebeck energy than you. It's honestly a treat to watch, even if it's a lot of overcoming fear for you. I really commend you for sticking with it. <3
1:47:20 the fish blocking the entrance is not bad RNG. That happens when you try once, run away, and try again in the same loop. In the first try, the fish move towards the entrance to get you, and when you reenter, that doesn't reset their positions, because why would it. Basically, when you fail that part, you have no choice but to restart the loop.

To answer your question, yes, it is entertaining to watch the vods. It's fun to see the thought process. Sometimes it goes awry but that's just human and tbh seeing other people go through brain hiccups helps a lot with impostor syndrome 😹 and then of course it feels extra good when you eventually get there. *Edit:* “Scout went in and left me behind!” That's it's job, no? It scouted 😹
Haha! After about 1.5 streams and three hours of play, Lindsay finally realized that 😆 Hopefully that knowledge will start making her a better pilot! Hope you enjoyed the video!
Outer Wilds, I highly recommend it. Basically, knowledge is key, it is a story driven game that is set in space. If you do decide to play it, DO NOT GOOGLE ANYTHING ABOUT IT. One of the best fucking games I've played. Knowledge is key. For example, I could beet the game in 15 minutes because I know what to do, but you may take like 10 hours as you don't have the knowledge to do so.
@@Purple_Gu7 You might want to edit that to correctly say "DON'T" But yeah, the less you know about the game the better, just play it. It's a masterpiece.
aha! another Oblivious soul who is experiencing this game for the first time. Cherish these moments cus this game is a must have, one time experience once you learn what is what you can never forget. Thats why we as an Outer Wilds community love to watch and feed with the reactions and emotions of first time players. hope you'll Love the game as we did
Definitely loving the game and always itching to play more of it! And based on the second stream of it a few days ago, there's plenty of oblivious moments coming 🤣 Hope you enjoyed the video!
I gotta finish this game. I guess the fact that there’s like two bosses and neither are the final one kinda turns me off from it but still, I should finish it
This is actually my second attempt at completing it. I just kind of stopped the first go around, but streaming it the second time has helped me commit to finishing it.
man i love the part where the retarded person who posted the video says what game it is so people who are intrigued can play it themselves, but nooooo leave the name out to force people to engage in the comments so you can abuse the system, fucking fowl "do not recommend channel" for use of this deceptive tactic
This is exactly how I imagine speak with animals working to an outside observer. Just gibberish, but enough like baby talk that you can kind of understand the meaning.
@adventurecheck I just found this and got all excited until I noticed it starts on Ep30 :( So where exactly within this adventure book does Ep30 begin? You said the year is 2949 but that is in the first chapter, on year #3 on page 17 (The Questing Beasts) and there is no way you have 30 episodes and only gone through just the first 3 sections of this adventure so where exactly are you in this campaign book? Can you list the name of the section/year from the book so I can get an understand where exactly you guys are currently at?

Fantastic question! Let us first apologize in advance as this answer may get a tad confusing We as a group began our Mirkwood Campaign from Adventures in Middle-Earth 5e at the very beginning of the book. This was a private home game for awhile before we decided to begin streaming it on Twitch. Initially our streams were not uploaded to RU-vid as VODs, until we hit episode 30 and we revisited how we could bring our game to others. Unfortunately because of this, episodes 1-29 are lost to time and memory as their broadcast from Twitch no longer exist and we did not save them. Episode 30 begins on page 20 with the Adventuring Phase "Secrets Buried". Due to PC story and some creative liberties taken with source material, we sometimes rearrange events for the sake of plot and story (also it keeps those with deep lore knowledge and those that are familiar with the campaign book on their toes 😉). Also for the same reason, the campaign after 81 episodes does not cover the entirety of the 30 years of the book, but instead on 10 years as we wanted to highlight the PCs' stories and their affect on the world leading up to the War of the Ring.
@@James-bn6lj No problem, we hope that helps and that you enjoy the campaign! Our new campaign that is currently being aired on Twitch and uploaded here begins at Episode 1 and is homebrewed outside of any campaign book. So that should be much easier to follow! lol
