How hard is it to zip up the bug net? quite a few REI reviews complain about it.
@beararms6945
@beararms6945 Месяц назад
I don't have any issues with mine and I've used my skylite for a year now , you just have to use common sense and not rush or force the zipper it's easy if you grab the material with one hand and than use the other to zip it. Eno sells a tube net too if you rather ykk zippers

Thanks for this, I bought a second hand henessy hammock that was modified with continuous loops. After some research I decided to get whoopie slings for suspension, then thought I may have made a mistake because people complain about how much distance you need from trees. This works great as a back up if I can't find trees speaced far enough apart. Just use my tree huggers directly on the hammocks continuous loop. Its so simple it's genius.

You can put a drip knot on the suspension. Basically just a small piece of cord, knotted onto the suspension, with one end hanging down to channel any water. I had the cheapest (supplied with the hammock) piece of what was like a giant shoelace for suspension for a season, and I got hit with 3 days of solid rain, and nothing got wet. Got a few days of rain with my whoopy slings too. Not perfect, but super helpfull

Why the lark's head around the carabiner, instead of just putting the carabiner through the loop?
@wisenber
@wisenber 5 месяцев назад
Another thing worth mentioning is that upside down, you're sleeping on a waterproof fabric which yields a sweaty back. Since it's already heavy, it would be nice to add a pad sleeve made of a more breathable material. However, a 2QZQ underquilt protector for pad will do.

Hey buddy i just bought this Sunda 2.0 tent/hammock last year Aka 2023 at my birthday around 22 of September, sadly did i not get all parts i was missing the middel Red/smal V shaped tent pole, so i had to wait well atleast 14 days more since i Live in Denmark! and then they forgot to give me the full pole so an othere 14 days, so around 1 mounth later i had a complete sunda! and well since then the weather here has been rainy and well quite cold so i havent had the change to try it or test it. Was wondering did u solve the guy-out issue on yours after the review? also have you tried it ever since? like how is it with the rain and condensation in thent/hammock mode since its a 1 way tarp and not a dobble? if you have any tips or tricks pls let me know! so i would be able to have the best experiance in my sunda! Greatings from Denmark FWatze

I use a body pillow, works for sleepover for my grand. Im trying to find something to cover 4 large squares on ends of legs. If you trip on one of these it's murder. I hv 2 hammocks one on balcony & one in my den. Stand is.made of hard wood. Want to.protect kids from tripping over them it's painful I know!

Thanks for posting. Would it be possible to bring a 50 lb dog in the Hammock with you. Just curious. I am not sure how to handle my dog on a Hammock trip. When tent camping he is in the tent with me.
@DerekHansen
@DerekHansen 10 месяцев назад
Yes of course, but just like having a human hammock partner, you're both going to be "intimately" associated. There's not really two places to hang out, even if the floor plan is big, you'll be sagging together.

What under quilt do you recommend for this hammock???? I have a one for my traditional hammock but does not work with this hammock. What do you recommend.
@DerekHansen
@DerekHansen 10 месяцев назад
I could use any of my under quilts for this hammock. From my experience. What quilt are you using? If you have a tapered or sewn quilt that may not work, but most traditional UQ that are "square" or flat and then those work fine.

Das ist seit Jahren meine absolute Lieblings Hängematte. Du hast aber gar keine Ahnung wie man diese benutzt, aufbaut. Über 2000 mal benutzt. Aufbauzeit 1 Minute.
@PhilCherry3

Because of the way the suspension is designed one also needs a wider spacing between anchor points. This further reduces the number of viable hang options at the destination site. There are many places where a gathered-end hammock will fit that a bridge hammock will not fit. So the gains in perceived comfort for the bridge hammock wii be offset by the loss of location flexibility.

You only need to do it right " once " with the Hennessy so that was totally wrong ! When thats done setup in less than a minute...every time ...without sagging. Kammock seems to take several minutes every time with those tent poles 😂
