No it's not. Cellulose is a polymer carbohydrate that's found inside a lot of plants. You can buy cellulose purified from biocompanies and it does not contain full wood chips, it's just a white powder like a sugar.
Hello Ashley Clair Skywalker hello anyway this is indeed very heartwarming and very wonderful and very beautiful and this brings back such great memories of when I use to be a 90s kid and an early 2000s kid and I am a new subscriber as well:).
Yeah it can totally be other plant matter as well! Most food production companies just use wood for their cellulose and added fiber since it’s cheaper.
Yes, cellulose additives can come from wood chips, but apples are made of pectin, hemicellulose and... cellulose! Next thing you'll be telling us is that we can't pour tree sap over our pancakes because it's from a tree....
I didn’t say you shouldn’t eat the wood 😅 just like, hey look it’s wood you’re eating! 🤯😂 I certainly eat the sawdust sometimes like when there is powdered Parmesan or fettuccini Alfredo I don’t cook from scratch🪵🍽️😂
Yeah who cares? There’s also ground up cockroaches in ground coffee, there’s puss and small amounts of cow shit in all dairy products. All natural fruit juice also has grounded up insects. So I don’t think some wood shavings are gonna hurt
Cellulose is just plant fiber and is found in fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Do you eat fruit, vegetables and whole grains? It's not woodchips, I really wish people like you would stop spreading misinformation considering how much of it there already is on the internet
I’m serious 😅 you can google it! Cellulose is wood shavings/ sawdust used in foods as an anticaking agent and also as an added fiber🙃😅 it’s in SO MANY foods!
@ashleyclairskywalker just googled it and all the scientific papers that did studies on how and why it's used (including the EU Food Safety Authority's updated report from 2018) literally found that it causes exactly 0 harm because you excrete it without problems. It doesn't affect reproductive health, it has no carcinogenic effects etc. It's literally completely harmless
Ofc you do you and buying blocked cheese is probably more affordable in the long run but presenting the fact that there is cellulose in shredded cheese as if they're putting lead or mercury into our products is a little silly, no?
@gdkjbbsu that's why I was confused by her claims, lol. Cellulose is in all fruits and vegetables. It's literally just a polymer of sugars that our body doesn't have the enzymes to break down. And it acts as fiber which is very necessary for healthy digestion.
@@Jack-bs4jt yep! Which is why I googled it and esp went to check EFSA cause sometimes things are banned in the EU and not the USA so this could have been this but it literally isn't lol. But i think it's interesting that the first two pages of results before i narrowed down my search were all blogs and "independent news" articles about wood chips🥴 which you could barely read because of the overload of adds🫠
Someone stole my 2.5 year old beardie, Prickles, out of my back yard a little over a week ago. We have a chain link fenced in yard, with low income apartments behind us. He has an outdoor house/cage thing back there and was enjoying the first really good weather we have had this year. When we went to get him, one of the doors on his house was open, and he was gone. I'm devastated. I decided I'm going to put up posters offering a $500 reward for him to be returned, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up:( Hopefully whoever took him will realize that's enough money to buy a new bearded dragon with a couple hundred dollars left over. People suck 😢
I wouldn’t do that, I’m showing an expression of who I am and how I love to live my life💖 I absolutely want others to see! I want to be the permission slip for others to let go and know they should be loving themselves and having fun with their lives🥰loving themselves for who they are however that looks😊✨
From time to time yes its ok, but there is an issue and that is exposure. Going out to get wet and have some fun then going back into a warm home and changing your clothes, drying off etc is fine. But if you're away from all like that hiking or camping you really dont want to get your clothes wet and be wet for extended amount of time because that can lead to hypothermia.
Bearded dragons don't need baths 5-6x per week. They don't bathe in the wild. 1-2x per week is ample! Your enclosure is also very SPARCE. He'd love a decent substrate and some basking rocks, hides and/or hammock, etc.
